Hi all was thinking of going with serious seeds ak47, chronic,& white russian all have same flowering times was wondering if anyone has had any experiance with these strains ,. had issues with last grow which was seedsman skno1 , was kinda hoping serious seeds will deliver the goods , the no1 from seedsman had great yeild looked fantastic just had no smell and i love a good skink up its all about smell taste & hit for me , cheers ........SURFA.............

serious White Russian is probably the most potent strain I've smoked, it's a real first rate plant good looking too (loads of fat and frosty buds ) the hit is quite sedative though ( it might send you to sleep ) , their Bubblegum is another first rate plant very potent with a nice euphoric high.


AK47 and Chronic are a little less impressive but still good plants, the AK is all initial hit with no long lasting after effects and the chronic is a strongish but decidedly average smoke - decent yields though.

Well I have 7 days experience of White Russian so far and all 10 germed so quickly that there were taproots in my 24 hour water soak before going into Root Riot Cubes. The taproot was so big after 24 hours I had to put them straight into 7 and 9cm pots, as it may of damaged them trying to put them straight into Root Riot Cubes.

Well impressed with them so far.

you alright mate , ive just finished growing white russian. 14 of the 15 seeds germinated and 14 of them were female which i think is effing brilliant . white russian isnt very smelly, ive heard ak47 is supposed to very smelly though . hoping some1 can tell me more about the ak47 too as i want to grow it aswell .

easy to grow, moderate stretch and not too fussy withthe nutes......... i love th high too, certainly strong enough!!!

No mate, I'm just 7 days into my experience with White Russian.

I got the new packs of 10 rather than the old 15 seeds per pack, by the way.

ive hung em up in drying nets at the moment .

ive been growing original cheese and blueberry and they smell strong but the white russian has a very mild sweet smell, it is not a smelly strain in my opinion but is covered in crystals , more chrystally than my cheese and blueberry .

and yes they are from serious seeds . i got them about 7-8 months ago when they had 15 seeds in a pack but now they only do 10 seeds a pack i think .

Ive bought a pack of bubblegum and white russian from serious seeds, will be started them in about 2 weeks looking foward to it.

none of them smell or taste like skunk, as far as I'm aware none of these strains have any skunk in them .


bubblegum smells and tastes just like bubblegum really sweet - quite possibly the nicest tasting weed I've tried.


White Russian smells potent and fruity when you crack the buds open but it tastes a bit oily and rank like White Widow when you smoke it.


the AK that I tried had a weird taste ( don't remember much about the smell) kinda like pear drops .

From my grows of both chronic and ak47 , the chronic flowering times have been quicker than the ak 47 . Knowone on here will agree with me on this mind , but my fellow real life associates will back me up on this

White Russian was my first grow and was my best grow to date. However, it seems that while all other people improve their skills (& yield) as time go on, I do the opposite!)

Have tried many other strains since and the WR yielded the most, smelled the best & had the strongest stone to it. Would recommend it very highly

well if you start at the top the only way is down, you shoulda stuck with the russian dude.

Their bubblegum is good, haven't done the russian yet, did some AK, was greatly disappointed, had some weird coffee, earth pheno that took over 10 weeks to finish, and wouldn't get a mouse high. Kept some of these to make crosses with. But I will say Monkey and Claude rock !

the first time i grew white russian i was very impressed
but the last 2 times i have grown it i am disappointed
there seems to be a lot of week seed in with them now just not the same as it once was in my opinion

oh dear that's a bit sad to hear, I'm glad I've still got clones from my original mother .... superb plant .

I have Serious' AK47 (Cherry Pheno) and I think it is a fantastic plant.
I find the taste & high superb......don't feel it wears off particularly quickly either
I find this pheno best left for at least 65 days....better at 70

Grew the Russian once.....found it a very fiddley plant and I personally think the AK has a better stone.

I did a batch of 15 White Russians last year... all 15 where female ! and very potent indeed, however, I only used 4 200w floresent lights = so it took nearly 6 months total grow time! I image a good sodium set-up would produce even better results ! Although the bugs where massive, it seemed to be a very "light" weight, which meant a henry, when weighed up looked almost like a fat half !!!! weird!, but great strain.

you do usually get a good female ratio with serious seeds well thats what i have found

ace seeds on the other hand have been giving great female to male ratios to loads of growers on here lately, i had 4f/2m out of the 6 i popped (njxoe)

their chronic does what it says on the pack . didn t seem to like a direct breeze from fans while in early veg??(leaves were crisping , but fine when the small osi was turned off. ). taste definately improves with curing . bit of variation in the females (8/15) , favourite one was short and branchy . others in the pack included the pheno which grows exactly like the picture on the seed pack . only time i v seen budrot was growing this strain , the buds were very fat and dense and my night time humidity was getting up tp 70% .
made some f2s so might grow it again soon.

I'm starting to come to that conclusion! Am always tempted to try a new strain, especially when the last one aint worked out that well. As the WR went so well, thought that all strains to follow would do well too. DOH

WR is going to be my next grow..i've been umming and arrring for weeks (while my current grow is going on) and this thread has made me make my mind up. WR is it...but..i still want that bubblegum taste...any x's out there?
