You will need to fit an extractor in your room to take away old air and bring in fresh. If you fit a carbon filter to the extactor and run it 24/7 you don't have to worry about smell.

Get a Carbon Filter, problem solved.
ALL cannabis plants will smell, some more pungent than others, but generally all types will smell, especially come flowering.
If you want a secure grow, get a filter.

thanks guys he has mentioned doing one of those diy c/fs you see on here, but was wondering if because its all concrete down below would he need to bother with carbon filters.

Good extraction will take care of the smell in the house and will be needed for the health of the plants but you'll also need the filter to stop the extracted air reeking of weed and giving the grow away to anyone around.

I would say that would be the best odor proof environment you could get! Obviously youll need proper extraction, but with a filter youll be sorted.
If you want to take it to the max, line the door with a sheat that seals the door so no chance of smell getting out there, and maybe the roof ( wooden floors ant gona let much threw, but like I said, if you wona take it to the max )

Mmmmmm a basement, what i'd do for a basement
get a c/f and run it 24/7 - full kit is 105squidd from 3counties hydro - quality and fan controller from fantronix (ebay store) only £25 quid with postage - its 2.5amp so it'll run two rvk fans (5" and up)
Well worth it though
