I thought that I'd start this thread for a laugh. I've been getting into the odd neat joint again since coming back from the Expo which rekindled my passion for them. I mostly roll weed joints mixed with tobacco as my staple smoke but I like to mix it up a bit. Occasionally smoking a really nice bubble or oil as my 'key joint' when I get home from work say. But there are times when you want to smoke something a bit special that you know will knock your socks off - do the job straight away, no prisioners.

I was sat smoking one of 'those' kind of joints when I thought that it was actually worth a photo, so I decided to take a few next time I rolled one. I've taken a few pics now so thought I'd start a thread and give them a stupid name. Neat One-skin Basball bats (N.O.B.'s) sprang to mind, so that's what I call them. "Shall I roll a nob"?; "have a suck of my nob"; etc rolls off the tongue easy. - right, that's got the inuendo out of the way, down to business...

The first one that I took a picture of I thought that I'd roll in one of the cellulose skins to both give them another try and to see what they were like for a neat joint. The only thing I'll say about that is that they look good/wierd but they don't burn well at all, they just kept going out which was really annoying. Towards the end I was having to light it for every puff and leave the lighter there for a while. The joint itself was a humdinger though and really stoned me. Because of the different mixture of flavours and highs, the taste was really odd but extremely pleasant at the same time. The stone was surprisingly clear and uplifting aswell.


N.O.B. #1 Ingredients: Chronic, White Widow, Tbizla and Pakistani hash.


N.O.B. #1 In a cellulose skin: first, in goes one weed (WW) then the hashes


N.O.B. #1 Next the second weed goes in (Chronic in this case)


N.O.B. #1 Roll up the mini baseball bat.

Along with my raffle prize (a set of bubble bags), Joolz sent me a few packs of these smaller Smoking Balck skins. They're just perfect for rolling one-skins. They're the same thickness as OCB's but are only slightly longer and wider than a normal packet of Rilas.

For the next nob I used the Smoking skins above, my homemade hash mixture (last last of it from the expo), and weeds by VRG and Owd. This was a right cracker. Not for the faint hearted. You could taste and pick out each indevidual constituent that went into it. A lovely smoke that really went well together.


N.O.B. #2 Raw ingredients: BlueberryxSuper Skunk, Senegalese and jelly hash (dry sift, bubble and BHO)

Nob #3 was very nice aswell. I used two different Northern Lights for that which really were different from each other but each lovely in their own right. To top it off I used a bit of dry sifted hash from Pakistani plants, made in Morocco. This you couldn't taste very much through the NL's but you could detect overtones and an aftertaste. A right heavy stone I got from this - my eyes were virtually closed the whole time and blood shot.

Check out Nob #4. This one really did kick my ass. I've taken a few pictures for this one as the oil was really nice and I've never posted any pics of it like this before. I'll post a few up in my hash thread aswell, explaining what it is and how it was made. But here's a few of them now. Basically it is really dried out oil that has cured for a while and is now all little crystals. I could warm them slightly and squish them together again and they'd look just like regular, top quality oil again, but they are nice and easy to smoke like this.

The taste was mostly of the weed as this oil was light tasting anyway, but the flavour it did add was really nice. The high was truly hard hitting but a really top cerebral high at the same time. One that puts a smile on your face and giggling at all sorts. A lovely smoke.

FD - I couldn't smoke joints like this all the time - I'd never get anything done. I'd spend all my time like a zombie and never really appreciate what I'm smoking. One a day like this is more than enough for me - and only then if I've already been to work and am then chilling. You totally appreciate what you are smoking then, take your time with it and enjoy every last puff.

Of course I'm smoking them. Not all at once though - these 4 I've smoked over the last week and taken pics when I rolled them. I smoke them by myself aswell, they're key joints after work kind of thing before a bath like. Social smoking is different.

Nup.

He can roll his own.

That's the way we generally smoke nowadays anyway. We'll roll normal weedy ones to smoke ourselves (in each others company - but just smoke it yourself), then we roll different joints - like hashes, oils, mixes etc - and we share those ones. That's just the way we do it. Your nob is your own personal thing though.
