the 600 hps has allways been aircooled but now they are both in there you can hold you hand right up to the glass befor it gets even warm :wink:

Is it a special type of glass?... just wondered if it would crack if cold

the glass was from some old hps lamps that i had, so yes its heat treated and toughened,
i wouldn't have used normal glass
