Cab 2'x2'x4' - 2 x 125W Enviro's (1 Blue 1 Red) - grew SOG stylee 6 Skunk #1 clones in 1.5ltr pots, 3 days veg, 62 days flower - 60g dry.

Next grow is 12 Skunk #1 clones in taller and skinnier 1.4ltr pots in the same space under the same lights - double the yield??? Doubt it, but 100g dry would be nice......

4 1/2' Square footprint - 2 x 125W (1 red 1 blue - just blue for veg) and a few 20W Cfl's - 3 plants about 4 oz dry if everything goes to plan.(which it never feckin does 34.gif )

last succesfull grow - 3 1/2 ish dry off 2 plants MK and Maz. veg time 6 weeks from seed, 8 weeks flower.

taking fuck-ups into account about 3 oz dry is the usual. Not that much - but in it's favour my 'drobe is silent, smell free and fits snugly behind my kitchen door - dosn't interrupt everyday life in anyway and is non-smoker girlfriend friendly 13.gif herein lies the trade off wink1.gif

It's the phrase 'non-smoker girlfriend friendly' that i've been looking for all this time.

My bro is growing 2 Barneys Phatt Fruity (fem) and 2 Big Buddah Blue Cheese (fem) using nothing but Enviro / Ecolite. Converted wardrobe using Batmix and Biobizz (during flower) and maybe a little top max, with RVK100 extract and passive intake.

Currently at about 2 weeks veg just developing 5th node. Vegging under 125 Blue Enviro and 200 Red Ecolite, only introduced the Ecolite this evening so we'll see how it goes. Will let them go another 2 weeks before putting the best 2 in 11ltr square pots and swithing to flower (due to space can only fit 2 X 11 ltr pots in - so will leave the weaker two in thier 6ltr pots and have them on the sides soaking up any lost lumens).

Will put a final 250 Red Enviro in at the last 3 weeks of flower - with perhaps a little PK or Topmax (would prefer to keep it organic).

Hoping for an average of around 1.5 oz per plant - which I believe is obtainable. The dude uses to treat MS and smokes around 1/4 a week - so should keep him pain free for a while.

Will keep you guys posted - would do a diary - but he's well para! ph34r.gif

3 days veg can't be right. Should that be 3 weeks?

Na,

Twas an experiment flowering from clone in small containers with minimal veg......not recommended from seed (although I might give it a go sometime).

BTW thw 2nd run didn't yield as expected (got about the same), but that is probably at least partly due to environmental issues and grower laziness/error. Am doing a 3rd run now with the same set-up, and hopefully a little more care........ pinch.gif

1 week to go on the Phatt Fruity now. The main bud has foxtailed! Looking really fat & fruity (as thier name suggests). Smells like a mixture of Bubblegum and the Old Skool Classic Tutti Fruity.

The cheese look like they'll take a while longer - 2 weeks perhaps.

Due to lack of space - the grow has been reduced to 1 of each (bb blue cheese & barneys phatt fruity).

Will be sure to post final yield (both wet and dry) on completion.

Peace Love & Pure Vibrations

Rmbr those are not 250 watt lights really the on board ballast takes a 200 to around 164-167 watt, bit of a piss take when they say 200 250 etc etc but then that's enviro's.

[quote name='StonedBrittania' post='735758' date='Oct 27 2006, 03:41 PM']Hi all,

After a lot of discussion of Envirolights over the past few weeks, I thought it would be useful to find out what yields our members are getting with this sort of lighting?

ive been using enviro's for 2 years now , having had to cut my electric bill which was getting out of control. i only grow in a double drobe, just over 2ft deep 4ft ish wide and about 6ft tall. i did have 1 400 watt hps which used to get far to hot in the summer months and living where i do it does get real hot in the summer. i was worried about yeild after hearing that they dnt kick out enough light, well that was right but having the right spectrum of light gets over this problem a bit. i use 2 125 watt blue for 3 wks of veg then 2 200 watt red for budding stage, they do tend to take a few more days to finish but i think the herb is better as its getting the right spectrum. i use my own organic mix of soil. at first my yeild was a bit smaller than from hps bulb but after fiddling round with my mix , and ph etc im now getting just as much as i did with all those years of hps. ive been growing big bang from green house seeds for a while now with some really good results. ive been averaging inbetween 2 to 3 oz a plant all jammed in there tight so good smoke for me eh.... when i figure out how to use my camera i will post pics of drobe and my babys intake , out take etc. i only use 4 inch outlet with rvk and my carb filter. passive inlet at bottom and ive changed my 240 volt fans to big pc fans which cut electric more. oh and ive 2 small pc fans as inlet at bottom to. ive been growing now for 15 yrs and would'nt change anything now as im getting around 2 oz a plant dry every time , with the odd mutant. so to all of u out there i believe its up to the grower to find out how good enviros are as im well plzed with mine. spliff.gif spliff.gif spliff.gif spliff.gif

What was the total yield per watt HPS and the yield per watt fluorescent ?

IE how many 2 ounce plants per grow.

Just finnished a makeshift grow using 1 125w blue ecolight from start to finnish.
The 2 strains i grew were nirvana bubblelicious and blue mystic, left both of them to grow naturally just removing dead leaves and smaller buds ffrom the bottom of the plant. I managed to get about an oz in total which isnt bad to say i dont even have any extraction just a fan blowing air into the grow room.

i resuced a plant that was vegging outside (4 or 5 weeks) in the winter months form a friend. using 1 red 125watt envirolite, in my mates cupbord no vents. gave it some vitalink a+b bloom, an a bit of pk 13/14. unknown seed form some smoke. sativa dominated, tall an skinny. took about 10 or maybe 11 weeks to finish

got about 2 oz when dry, but the lower buds were very light and whispy. buds at the top were nice
i think the energy bill was about £2 a week, so not bad at all.

mmm. 400w of HID, 400w of CFL = 400w of electric either way (i know there are slight differences due to ballasts etc).

Granted you are saving a bit on veg. I'm just about to go in the other direction - 2 years of using enviros, about to go with 250W HPS for the first time. Will report on here whatever the difference in yield is.

My last enviro only grow. Diary here.

SCROG from femmed seed. Seedsman Nemesis x 2 in 6.5ltr pots organicish compost. 2 x 125w ecolite brand 1xblue 1xred horizontal in a reflector. 75grams ish into the jars, plus a goodly amount of quality trim. Very nice smoke.......

Goldie2007 just yielded the same from 1x125w enviro in a vertical stadium style his Octabox. Go figure.... wink.gif
