Whats happened to tooty fruity???? All the cuttings and mothers in my neck of the woods have all gone, and seeds are impossible to find.
Is their any truth in that its just a different phenotype of NL5 x Haze???? I can't believe all the mothers round here have been killed and seeing as nobody does seeds is this strain in its demise. Any info of whats happened would be nice, pm's nicer. Thanks alot all!! |

Never grown this but a friend of mine helped someone with a large grow of it (a good few years ago...probably back in 96 maybe ) and I was lucky enough to get to try some. I personally liked it loads, but wasn't used to good bud at the time. Was quite a heavy indica stone tho and reminded me a bit of bubble gum, which I also got to try for the first time then.
Haven't heard mention of it since then tho. -------------------- Confucius said,

Yeah, methinks it is another clone only. May seem odd but how does a strain become clone only. Is it that somebody would of breed the strain themselfs, and because of this to do a seed run you'd have to cross it again with another strain.
If so then if you could find out what the orginal parents were could you recreate a clone only strain, like cheese or tooty. Big bubba's done a seed run with cheese but like I stated it isn't pure cheese as it's had to be crossed to get seeds. If you could find out the orginal parents though, with a bit of work I'm sure you could get something close to the orginals. And on that note I'm surprised nobody's heard of tooty fruity, the only weed round here that'll sell for £25 on the 8th no questions. People go nuts when they hear the name, what a difference a few miles makes. |

tooty fruity is a 3 way cross.
heavy duty fruity X juicy fruit X bubblegum i have it in my collection. from seed, each plant has a small deformaty on one leaf margin. usually a wave, but can also lead to a bit missing. its on the first couple of leaf sets, then its gone. this appears more in the sativa looking seedlings. it would appear 2 pheno's are common.
