I tried it and had a lot of damping off, it works well if you are using a totally sterile medium.
A. You take a splinter off my cross, tie a few hairs to one end of it, dip the hairs into the pollen and lightly brush the pistils with it.

your patience, but what is a soft tip cutting and what would you consider a sterile growing medium?

Lofty real black treacle in small amounts will feed the micro heard and it also contains potash and trace elements, I'm not sure if plant roots have the receptors that will allow the sucrose [disaccharide] across the membrane, I’m also not sure if honey will cross either, though the sugars are mainly mono saccharides and totally plant derived. They for sure will help if you have an inoculated medium.

Thanks for that info, I'm told that Bio Bizz put mollasses in topmix and a few other products but I liked the sound of the honey, my wife buys manuka and I must say it tastes good to me B)
