depends on how much heat you need to shift... that fan moves ~200 cubic metres of an air an hour which is sort of 250w territory for an attic grow, also the static pressure it can hold is slightly lower than an axial style fan so it may have issues when coupled to a filter but the best way to find out is to have a go

I will be running a 400w hps. Back in my roughly 2f x 4f cupboard. Was running into all sorts of probs in the loft.

Gets pretty hot, Got a big fan blowing between the canopy. Just wondered if this was up to the job.

Cheers for the reply.. I know nothing of the workings of fans.

I don't know a lot about fans either you are going to have to get creative to match it to a filter though, how about flogging it and buying something that is certainly appropriate?

you may be onto a winner, but how you fit it is the important bit... looks like you will have to blow into a filter as the the 95 exhaust is the only duct friendly bit

basically the air gets sucked in from the front and thrown out of the duct hole at the back, it has oneway back pressure flaps so you have to suck through the front. With a 100 mm duct to a filter it should work though provided you can wire it up
