I think I may have the dreaded spidermite starting up. I have noticed leaves with mysterious holes and strange edges. So I pulled 2 leaves and this is the result.

The million repeated question. What's the best available easily, none lethal to me, none £200 a ml. Just a good solid bug zapper? something to catch them early and stop the oncoming reproduction playground? Misters/sprays/natural predators/napalm?

some shots from my cheapo usb microscope.

I cant make anything out in that picture mate, spidermite leave the top of the leaf looking speckled, if you turn the leaf over you can see the little bastards having a party!

Nothing obvious on the leaves. Apart from those spiky bits that make me itch I think originally what led me to investigate the shrunk leaves in a bit more detail. Sorry for the bad pics the second one is as good as I can get on CSI mode Enhance! it's what like like little blue balls (eggs?) not water btw! near the main leaf vein.

Call of the airstrikes and mite bombs, I think I over reacted! Going shopping for SBPI and harka-mectin. Just as an if I see them they are getting SBPI and might add a mixture of the two into the veg regulars. Thanks to Felix and his tests/tips @:)
