Hi all,

I am a first time grower and have only just thought seriously about growing. I refuse to grow cannabis in my home (well, I don't mind growing the seedlings at home) so I have decided to go down the guerrilla growing route. After reading a lot on the site I decided it was best just to wait till next season, however, I have come into some extra funds and I can afford to do it this season. Am I too late though? I have brought some seeds (Impulse buyer here :hippy: ), the seeds I have are:

10 x Auto Pineapple Express (Fem)
1 x Blueberry Gum (Fem, Free)
1 x La Musa? (Fem, Free)
1 x Auto Blueberry (Fem, Free)
1 x OG13 (Fem, Free)
1 x Sour Jack (Fem, Free)
1 x Madness? (Fem, Free)

I was thinking that I could do the Autos this year and just save the rest till next season? Any advice?

To give you some other info: I have a location for my plot but no work what so ever has been done to it. I'm also going to be working for the next two weeks doing 12 hour on 12 hour off ( :russian: ) so I won't have a lot of time until two weeks.

Thanks,

RG

Timed it about right mate. Do the Autos in three weeks and 14 weeks from now you'll be smoking.

Cheers :smokin:

Not too late IMO if you get em cracked straightaway then get em planted by the end of the month.

Obviously it would have been better to prep your soil. But you could just do the lazy mans method and dig your holes and chuck some compost in there. Maybe a bit of FBB as well.

That's what I did when I grew an outdoor plant and it grew like mad, ended up taller than me.

Fish, Blood and Bone.

I threw in a handful when I was planting, I made sure to chuck it into the bottom of the hole to give it a chance to break down into the soil before the roots reached down that far, so as not to 'burn' the roots.

This was all very amatuer, slapdash stuff but it seemed to work. I also made sure to plant where there was nettles growing.

Ahh, thanks for clearing that up. It wasn't in the dictionary

I think my grow will have to be a bit slapdash anyways to be honest, however, I have a grow partner (my girlfriend haha) so hopefully we can get a lot of work done in a short period working together. Our plot location is surrounded by brambles and nettles, well, I say surrounded, we're planning on hacking through to the middle of them and making our plot in there. My only issue is that there are a few trees around, I need to make sure there will be enough light raining down on the area.

Well, thanks again mate.

Your missus as your grow partner!! You done alright there.

Plenty of time. Maybe look into buying one pack of a tried and tested photo strain if you can afford it. You wouldn't be the first person to be let down by mouldy autos.

Aha, yeah my GF has been my smoking partner for the past 3 years so I guess it's only fair hehe.

Thanks for the tip Sid, I think once I get home from work i'll pick up some Passion #1 then. Apparently it's a fairly easy strain for a first time grow?

Cheers,

RG

Aslong as they are vegging they will be fine to put out until late july

Just make sure they are established to the ground first with atleast 2-3 sets of leaves on them mate.

Haha, I hope so. She is signing up to the site also, thats another one to the growers wives section haha. Not sure if we're going to do a diary yet, but will for sure be uploading some pictures along the way.

Ah, I was going for Passion No.1 but if there are cheaper ones then for sure i'll go for them. Getting regs, i'll have to sex them right?

Cheers for the pointers though.

I shall indeed, i'll start them off indoors, get the going good then move them, I think ill just be digging holes and filling with compost as opposed to full on prepping the site. Thanks for the tips Whats_Luring... and all :)

Oh really? I saw a couple of posts and read a few things on seed stores that say it's fairly easy for beginners, but forgive if I'm wrong  . I just checked out the KC36's and read the description and it says it's possible to get around 900 grams from 1 outdoor plant, surely this can't be true? Maybe in other countries but the UK? If it does then I guess i'll on an ounce a week :yahoo:

Getting 1-3 ounces is about normal for yields fellas. Any more is a bonus...
