Is your soil from B&Q? I'm not sure if it makes a difference but look into Plant Magics Oldtimers Bloom. Jus't finished a grow with it and it's fecking amazing stuff. Smooth burning, amazing tasting weed with the neuts man.
UK420 has a Plant Magic section aswell. Look around, i'm sure you wont be disappointed. BTW I used Plant Magic soil too. Great stuff. Also used the Granules. Worked a treat. lol i'm stoned to bitz.

My compost is from b and q but its the verve brand.
Its kinda hard to do research as im using a mobile for the internet. When would you advise ising the bloom nutes? Its says that afghan kush will veg for 14 days then enter rapid flowering.

Probably a bit late now, but I'd avoid the Verve stuff in the future.

I use the B&Q multi, but when they were out I had to buy a bag of this stuff. I planted 6 auto's and used the Verve for the 2 that I'd grown before (Afghan Kush and Cream Caramel), both are half the height of the other plants and pale shadows of their former sisters who were streets ahead under almost half the light and with no nutes! Verve is not a good medium to grow in.. :(

Can you guess which 2 are in the Verve? :soap:

Shit man gutted. Is it because verve is low in nutes? Should i be adding oldtimers veg aswell? The afghan is only 5 days old now starting her 3rd leaves.also b&q said they were not doing there own brand anymore. Not unless there full of shite Cheers fonner

Well your doing autos so they dont have much veg time. My autos were showing preflowers at day day 17-23. I have no idea what's in the B&Q stuff but I think you can get away with using small amounts (1/1.5ml per litre) of OT grow and slowly increase if needed, but you're not going to be using much. I started on the bloom at day 24-27.

So yeah you're 5 days old, i'd give it a few more days untill u give them neuts. There quick growers but you don't want to burn them. you're going to need some oldtimers grow but only for a little bit. Small amounts remember then when you got preflowers showing, give it a few days then start on the bloom small at 1/1.5ml per litre and increase. This is how I did it.

But yeah man have a look into the Oldtimers grow & bloom. And get some Plant Magic soil for your next grow!

Keep us updated =)

Just had a look on ebay and it says oldtimers bio grow and bloom 18.99 1 liter of each. 3 pounds postage? Is it still organic or are there 2 types? Cheers

I was told by the eejit in the uniform that the Verve was 'pretty much' the same thing, and would be replacing the purple bag product. That was over a month ago, and the purple bags are back with me so... ??

I'm on oldtimers grow and bloom for these. They certainly help, but like ukaliks said, wont need much of the grow as you don't want to start on it too early, and the plants start flowering quick :)

Hi fonner

Im 3 weeks into flower with 6 super iced grapefruit fems (scrog) Im using the B&Q verve and oldtime bloom and the girls are loving it I havent had any probs with the verve and the oldtimer range is fantastic, Ive grown with westlands multi in the past but changed to the verve because the westlands was too hot I potted up 3 times with the verve and had no problems early on, just my 2 bobs worth.

Good luck with your grow.
