The article relates specifically to HIV, but I can't help wondering if it might translate to other retroviruses, since another retrovirus may someday be proven to be the cause of my illness, ME...

It's a long, scholarly article but the essence is, benefits of cannabis for HIV are not limited to pain relief and appetite improvement. Antiviral effects have been found. hxxp://www.plosone.org/article/info:doi/10.1371/journal.pone.0033961
Vaporising can reduce inflammation of joints.

interesting stuff. I don't know much about viruses or hiv but it sure seems possible

well the reason i smoke cannabis is because i suffer from severe nausea from my anti viral med's for hiv , plus help's me eat better and feel normal ( no sickness , hungry , no joint pains happy and relaxed ) as also suffer from reactive arthritus which means i get regular joint pains at random spots in my body if i'm lucky only last a few days to a few week's if bad?

diff topic but how is canna oil made ? and used for people with cancer ? as my uncle has thoat cancerhad teatment thout they got rid of it then cam back but is now to ill to have kemo and been givern 6month to 12 to live , i mentioned canna oil and sativax to my mum to tell his family as maybe that might help as i don't really know apart from odd post's i saw on here ?
