hi im 8 days from seed and the stems look a bit thin they have 2 nice leaves and it looks like 2 more are forming.

my ec is at 10 and base is 4 should i be at 14 ec on my meter and would this cores this.

my light 5" away with temps at canopy of 31c and room at 25c

also so i wont to put them in the main system monday. they will be 11 days from seed then.

can i start just using normal tape water instead of boiled water?

A nice steady breeze on them will strengthen them up.

E.C 1.2 would be my max in veg unless required, but that would be later in veg.

A little Silicon added to their feed soon strengthens them up too. Good stuff in such situations.

so do i have 12ec after the 4 base ....16ec ?

do you have to top them up every day when they drop ect.... thanks!!

No you include the waters EC. So 0.8 added to the 0.4 water to get 1.2.

I've never grown aeroponically or with an active res. so not sure regards that my friend.

what about going from kettle water to tape water on day 11 from seed mate!

Yes most people just use straight tap water. I've used it straight from the tap, hot and cold mixed to 20ēc without any issues. These days i prefer to fill big water butts up and let it settle for a few days 1st, lets it come to its natural pH.

Also its simpler than always making up fresh nutes straight from the tap. It doesn't suit my situation atm as its a little suspect for me.

Hi mate

Your ec seems a little high for a plant 8 days from seed, i usually only use formulex and rhizotonic at this stage with an ec of around .5

Why are you boiling your water?

Wait until you have lots of roots before you put them in your system mate. Good luck with it. :yep:
