Hi There,

Iv been browsing this forum and fuckcombustion for a few days now, i reached the conclusion that i might need some help lol.
Its my first vape, iv tried a volcano once but other than that im fresh to vaping.

So im a smoker/toker looking for health and efficiency benefits, drawn towards a whip style with the ability to connect to a bong.
I may want bags as an option but not bag only.
I do use hash and oil as well as herb if thats a consideration.
It will mostly be used as a home personal vape, 1-3 people. For 1 person do you use smaller amounts or just turn the vape off and hit it again later?
Price isnt a concern but lets say under or around £270.
Digital display not necessary but a good temperature variability and decent max temp(240C).

So iv ruled out the volcano (bag only), ViVape (max tmep 190C), VapeXhale (price/availability), plenty (no bong), HerbalAire (prefer extreme q)
I think currently my 2 main contenders are the Extreme Q and the LSV. Extreme Q for bag/party functionality,
LSV for a pro hand held whip vape. Are there any other vapes that i should consider?

The other consideration is getting replacement parts. LSV parts aren't that available in the UK, extreme q parts are in everywhere.
Not a big deal really but

I may be ordering from the US initially, currently the deals i am looking at are

LSV with Water Pipe Adapter-from manufacturer
with:
Replacement Heater Cover, Transfer Wand, Water Pipe Adapter
Full set of replacement screens and a set of ceramic flavor discs
Shipping to UK
384.32 USD (242 GBP)

Extreme Q 4 - from vapeworld
with:
Water Pipe Adapter, Cyclone Tuff Bowl, Spare elbow and whip, spare screens
Shipping to UK
Without External Portable Battery Pack
348 USD (219 GBP)
With External Portable Battery Pack
433 USD (273 GBP)

So how do you vape small (1 person) amounts, should i consider other vapes, any better deals out there iv missed?

Any and all input would be appreciated.
Thanks,
LF

I love my Herbalaire. It does bags or whips, I prefer the bag and it can be connected to a bong, the only draw back as far as you are concerned is its max temp. which is only 200c. No need to grind the weed, wet or dry and it gets me extremely stoned and I can reuse the vaped weed again when cooking. To vape smaller amounts just put less in.

Sorry LSV = Life Saber Vaporizer, from 7th floor who made the silver surfer vaporizer

I saw a post describing the herbalaire as the one to get if you are clumsy as its basically unbreakable but the Extreme Q as the (marginally) better machine

Back to the LSV
Basic vid using wand
More advanced glass setup
Crazy ass glass setup

I also saw it paired with the aquavape on Fuckcombustion (genius)

I love my SSV (Silver Surfer Vaporizer) - it's whip only. Think it goes up past 250C. I think it's smoother than a volcano. I attach mine to a 500ml EHLE bong - beautiful :bong:

The LSV is awsome with the bong attachments but i dont like using the wands at all,I think the arizer is great too though and would go for that for a first vape as it does everything well.
Uk stockists for under 200 too,you could get import taxed if you dont make arrangements with a U.S seller.

@Hashbeck, im chugging a 500ml EHLE too,love it :bong:

eta: you can use very small amounts and still get a grin on :bong:

Damn this is a tough decision. Basically thats what i want, i want to be a big stoner nerd with some awesome quality vaporizer and some kick ass glass.
But im thinking for a first vape the extreme q might be a better option, i can still get a nice bong.

and the LSV looks too hard to find parts for in the uk/eu and if i had to send a faulty LSV back to the US it would break my heart!

thanks for the alibongo link i had seen them earlier, i was looking at vaposhop but i think that may be more economical

the herbal aire is the most efficient vape on the market ..can fill 5 bags at once ,is customisable ..and most of all the folks at the vapor lounge recommended it to me as the best value for money vape ..the reason it goes to 200 deg is because it auto adjusts to room tempreture so that 200 deg is an accurate 200 ..the other vapes do not adjust and therefore cannot always be accurate with temp scales .ie fire up a cano in a cold basement 200 degrees might only be 194deg .
It went to bollocks pages ago, then hit the anus running and is now somewhere around the colon. boojum 10/2010

what ever you choose louflag i wouldnt be ordering it from the states mate, more hassle than its worth and if you get hit with import duties then you wont even save that much,
if you buy from here you know youll be getting 240v and no hassle if you need to return it for any reason.

just my tuppence worth

The extreme Q is better if you like the bells and whistles. It has a funky blue light underneath, 3 fan speeds and a remote control ! The bowl is glass and sits above the unit. The herbalaire is more straightforward with the weed container within the unit and just a simple dial on the front. The extreme takes a little longer to heat up. Probably a little more cleaning with it but I like the fact it is glass and you can watch the vapour running through it. I only use the whip as i think the taste is better than a plastic bag and you are less likely to cough.
