I posted this topic in the green room, but I don't think it was the right forum.
I also have another question please.

I used to use horizontal enviro bulbs in my grow and one of them did not fit properly in the reflector and I wonder if mercury from the bulb could have leaked because of this faulty connection between the reflector and the bulb?

If mercury has leaked, the lamp won't strike - there needs to be at least some pressure to sustain an arc..that's how they work.

The amount of mercury is teeny.
