Thx Killa. I've only recently re-discovered this forum after having been away from it for eight years. Yes, I am doing exactly as you advise now!

@Frank, since leaching the pots a couple of days ago they've had nothing but one watering.@Se7en, yes the lower leaves did look a bit sickly after the leaching during which they most likely did get in contact with the compost. Oh well, put it down to experience ... I'm determined to get this line of horticulture right!
Btw, what do you guys think of my plan to get an ozone generator as an alternative to a carbon extractor? Problem is that the closet I use has no outlet for an extractor and opens into the kitchen. The kitchen does have an extractor which I can access from the loft and maybe fit a carbon filter onto it there. But the ozone generator would be a simpler solution and I've read that they work. What are your thoughts?

You could try using worm humus, really helps with germinating and i think you can't burn plants with it. Also what Frank said, try using a little coco mixed in.
I use 60% PM soil, 20% coco and 20% worm humus for this grow, next time though I will do half my plants 80% soil with 20% worm and the other half 80% soil and 20% coco.
Definitely noticed better growth and roots though by adding the above.

Just in case anyone of you guys check back into this thread, I'm including a pic I took two days ago of the SuperSkunk plants mentioned above. The stunted plant is still growing nicely and is in the middle back row flanked on each side by two other SuperSkunk (44 days old). In the front row middle is a Critical Jack (38 days old) flanked by two Fastbud Autos (23 days old)

Thanks guys, yes I do feel quite proud of 'em. As you can see, the stunted SuperSkunk is very much smaller than its sisters but the good news is that it continues to grow. The three large plants are about ready to go into the flowering cycle soon as I get some clones going off them. The Critical Jack is just showing early signs of flowering already and so are the two Fastbud autos which are now 24 days old. I'm told that Fastbud autos will grow just so long as they have light, so should I include them in a 12/12 flowering cycle as well despite their size? What do you think?

I read that people do that with auto's but you wont get as much of them as you would on a longer light cycle. Still its better to fill the space with something rather than nothing, i'd go with your proposal.

Here's the latest pix of my plants: BACK-ROW are two Superskunks; MIDDLE-ROW are (left) Critical Jack, (centre) Fastbud (?), and (right) stunted SuperSkunk; FRONT-ROW two Fastbuds. The two large Superskunks are in Day 56 and into the Flowering Cycle together with the Critical Jack (Day 50). The large Fastbuds are flowering but still below 12" in height so are still in a Grow Cycle, together with the little 'un, requiring them to be shifted into a different Grow Room at night.
As you can see the originally stunted SuperSkunk continued to grow, but slowly and with a Y-shaped main bough needing some support.
