Just wondering if there's any reason why all tents are no higher the 2m
I could do with something a bit taller right now,maybe a 2.3 m ?

i've had them bent over double when they've stretched more than the others in flower.

got to do them gently , a bit at a time tho' or they'll snap

E2A - the average ceiling height in the uk is 2.4m , that might have something to do with it

Was gonna say bout the heights of ceilings my tent ain't to far away already don't reckon I could get any closer it would be to hard to put up cheezehead

Most of the times i keep them short no problem ,but sometimes they can get out of hand and i though a little more height will help that's all

I always thought ceiling fans played a role in that consideration by the manufacturers?

Sounds exotic, tropical, mmmmmnnn yummy fruity sativas eh? long blooming blooming .

I would just build a big plasterboard box then you can have it custom to your requirements.
Also you could set about lagging it with whatever possible preferably that foil foam insulation stuff then you can keep the temps and the smell and the acoustic pollutions stable/under controlio much more betterer than a tent in my opinion.

Or if youve already got a tent that's too small you could mod it.
If this is the case then be sure to whack a picture up mate. risky business but possible i'm sure.
i'm thinking two tents sewed together sounds pricey tho.
I've seen tents designed to fit in a loft space on an online auction site I reckon if you had your heart set on a tent you could probably contact a company and they'd make one to size.
I would still be inclined to go with an internal box style grow s opposed to a tent thicker walls = no flipping flapping. happy growing amigo

Hey McCheeseweasel ,no doubt that a grow room build like that will be ideal
The only thing i like about tents it's that you can take them down and put them up in no time .If i had a better grow place i'll build something similar to what you're talking about
I'm something like 3 weeks from harvest now and i don't think i'm gonna start modding my tent,it sounds like a massive project

I think 2.2m high tents would be an excellent addition to the range

One of the main problems with tents is height and I think it would be a very strong selling point too

I'd love to use tent's again although I have since converted to 1000W lights over 600W and I'm abit sceptical about running that much light and heat in a snug little tent. Like Owderb says, even 20cm would make a significant difference IMO.

For you hydro heads out there wanting more height.

How about building a 2 foot "stage" to put the tent on. The resouvour has to be below the level of the plants normally. With a stage the res can be below the tray level even thogh the pots are at the lowest level of the tent.

E2A: I have just seen Hydrolab's 2.4x2.4m tent - would it be possible to run 2 x 1000Ws in there all year round? I'm thinking that having half the tent open would allow the air to cool a little

Sounds like a good idea to me, should help keep res temps a little cooler too!!
