As the title says , just wondering if they have left the boards ?

Vill

Hey Vill,

We are still about.....just lol

We have been very busy of late. And unfortunately we are not big enough to employ additional staff to do the day to day stuff so it is left to me to not only do the boring office stuff but to also look at future prospects, the shops we serve, potential shop enquiries along with marketing, Health and Safety blah blah blah lol

It would be nice to have the time to put back over here and I am sure that as we grow I will have the extra pair of hands I require to free more time up so I can not only come on here and be more proactive, but will have more time to spend with my family. We have just had a new addition and I am trying my best to spend as much time with them as poss, so my last thoughts are to come here and manage the forum as selfish as it sounds :yep:

Many thanks for starting this thread though, I am hoping that my comments will prove that we are still focusing on supplying the best products at the best price we can, along with being stretched like a stretch armstrong lol

Their products seem good but customer service and general upkeep of site seems bad.

I have gone considerable distances to closed shops or ones that only get PM in to order.

I rang and told them the shop they had listed has closed down well over 12 months ago but its still on listing "Tony’s Natural Foods" :wallbash: Wonder how many peeps have done same as me.
I apologise if he still is trading but certainly not at those premises not great once you biked up to an hour around London on your break from work.

I also emailed after explaining 2 other stockists Sale and Grasshopper don't really stock they just order as an when, fine if you know but not great if you just look at site for closest stockist to where you are.

You may wonder why i seem to have gone to outlets across country as i always go when working away as no car and no one know me and me nearest supposed stockist from home is miles away.

I would say sort it out PM particularly here of most places you have such dedicated customers why abuse that, but then you probs wont see it.

Its rare i rant but as i went out of my way in time and to inform them by phone and email i thought they might at least update site in the last 12 months, new products have been added.

:bong:

Hey EF,

I am sorry to hear of your issues. As we have appointed a distributor for the UK we have kinda lost touch as to who was stocking us regularly. We have now just very recently (last week) recieved the up to date list of ALL shops that stock PM on a regular basis, rest assured that over the next few weeks these will be available to view on the website. We have over 200 shops to now list, so this could take a little while lol

An hour on a bike across London is not a p[leasent experience I am sure, and for that I appologise :( Tony's (before they closed down) did used to stock some of the range.

I will say to anybody before going in to any of the stockists on our website would be to simply phone the shop in question to make sure they have in stock what you require, in almost every instance, if they do not have stock it can be their within 48 hours or when they next order from the distributor :yep:

Hmmm, guess youve had a heads up here.Excuse my cynicism.
Congrats on the new addition btw.

Are you up for a discussion over the problems numerous people have been experiencing with yr coco nutes?
Are you up for a chat about compensation re two ruined crops?
Or are the above posts mere lip service, in an attempt to stem the tide of growing disatisfaction with some of yr products, and the subsequent loss of revenue?

e2a- i've got 5 litres of unopened coco bloom and a litre of unopened bloom boost.
As a demonstration of good will, would you be prepared to take the product back for a full refund?

Welcome back PM, and I hope your hide is strong - seems the natives are a tad restless :woot:

Anyway, all I can say is its good to see you posting again. And I am delighted to hear your news - Congratulations.

You must be exhausted, I've some small idea of what stress you must be under at the moment. Starting up a business like this, very time demanding, very intense. I think you do the right thing to focus on your (new and growing) family, I hope you can find the time to rest up, re-charge and so on. Sort of a case of loving yourself, so that you can better love others.

Still delighted with the Oldtimer range. Its giving me nice green plants right to the end, just using minimal Bloom and a big old handful of Granules. Been getting some really decent yields, sweet tasting buds all of them. Certainly no problems there!

 I tried some Bio-Silicon a while back. Big disaster! Horrible burn, terrible taste, rock hard ash of a very dark gray/black. So I shrugged, and moved on. Wasn't till the other week, when I read oldtimer posting on the use of Bio-Silicon, that I realised I had massively overdosed with it. For some daft bugger of a reason. I had been feeding it at 5ml to the litre, right to the end (iirc) :russian:

Anyhow, you'll be pleased to hear that I'm using it again now, at the right levels too. The plants certainly look like they are enjoying it. :smokin:

I would appreciate if they answered their emails especially when the last one they sent asked for an address. Pretty shady.

Think you'll be waiting for sometime mate ime.
I feel sorry for ot1- hope pm are paying him handsomely for doing their job for them.

Northwest,

Please PM or email your addy again and I will see what has gone wrong with the goods. As far as I was aware all addresses we recieved from past competitions were sent out. I can verify this with the courier to see what has happened to the parcels :)

And as for feeling sorry for Oldtimer erin there is no need. Oldtimer is a dear friend of many years. He understands the strain we're under as a small fish in such a big ocean are in order to try and keep our heads above water. I approached OT to ask for some specifics that he would be happy with, at the time there was only one other co. (we have used ourselves I must add for many years with successful harvests)and now over the years we felt that their products were deteriating, started off with their allmix then the liquids started to become weaker and the fact you had to use two bottles in conjuction seemed a slight rip off.

So what came out of the tail end after many tests and discussions with various parties saw the final product, one that only required the single bottle and a formulation that not only OT was happy with but so were the rest of the testers. We only ever had the one issue with this product but quickly recalled as best we could. So to say we are doing OT no justice or for you to "feel sorry" for him is slightly odd?

Respect to yr good heart and open mind on this issue mr layne.
However, it appears my above post has been proven correct.
He came in,said a lot without saying anything, then when pertinant issues were raised, promptly fucked off.
Bravely ran away, as python put it.

e2a -sorry, we cross posted.i was waiting for 90 mins :wassnnme:

Dude, you still haven't answered my initial posts. Sorry, but this just wont do.
I too have had a recent addition,so empathise greatly, but im far poorer than you (i'd imagine), and simply cannot afford to lose another crop,or have 5 litres of non liquid assests sitting here gathering dust.
What say you to my request, in the spirit of customer relations?

If you've been so pressed for time, why have you continued to expand your range over the past 18 months so, Whilst there are clearly issues with yr base coco products?

Hi plant magic ...congratulations !

I have three kids and remember well the joy and sleep deprivation although its all a long time ago now :)

I just have one question really , what's the best way to contact you so you'll get the message ?
Obviously there's a bit of a communication problem so to avoid frustration would you let us know your preferred method ,

Thanks

Why are you so incapable of having a decent, well mannered debate? Your posts are rude, as well as offensive and I'm amazed anyone has the time of day for you given the attitude you display.

I'm more than capable of having a succinct and reasonable debate mr layne.
However, a debate requires engagement of both parties, and pm's refusal to even aknowledge issues, let alone engage in dialogue, has left me somewhat frustrated. Apologies for my slightly crass approach, as it's obviously offended such a shrinking violet as yourself.

Congrats on the success and giving the big names a run for their money.

Seeing my handle has been dragged into this topic, I don’t know why anyone would want to feel sorry for me, I told PM+ that I would help in their support forum in my areas of expertise or interests, I’m not into chemical gardening or using chemical fertilisers.

Today the PM oldtimer nutrients are still the best I have tried and I’ve tested every organic nutrient on the market that I know of.

I answer where I see new queries in my field, I tend to leave where the same question has been answered many times, there are only so many times I can type the same thing with out tearing my hair out. Maybe I should start collecting links to answers.

erin you have been here since early september,

You posted Yesterday, 05:47 PM

After 3 cycles using pm coco with a familiar clone and environment,
I feel qualified to say there are some serious issues with this nutrient.I'd go further and say they're utterly useless.

Disgusted with the after sales i got,and at myself for sucumbing to 420 hype.

Would be happy to discuss this with any growers who beg to differ.Although i'd insist they had first hand experience of this nute, and it's comparison to others-in a tried and tested grow environment.

Thats nearly 6 months, why if you had a problem did you not start a topic in this support forum with pictures of the problem/s you were having as they appeared, that is the best way to get help and give PM feedback.

Many experienced growers here have documented grow after grow and have posted some stunning diaries using pm coco with great yields, like Budelaire as just one, if none of the satisfied growers have a problem and grow healthy crops with PM’s coco nutrients, there are clearly no issues with PM’s base coco products for the majority of users. I understand you seem to have an issue.

There is a slight change in formulation between the coco and hydro nutrients to suite the medium, again growers like CF are reporting good results, it would be good to work out why some have a problem.

Several members have had problems with the organic OT nutrients, when 99% don’t, the why they had/have a problem is something still to find out for me, I have to admit I don’t understand why.

I have done all sorts of things outside normal feeding patterns to plants trying to replicate the problem and failed, they have been bomb proof for me.

As far as the coco and hydro nutrients are concerned the only problem I know of is they only work in active circulation systems or made fresh and run to waste, they will not work in any form of static system but that is well documented time and again in these forums.

To be quite honest it is pretty rude and libellous to a point and not a way to have a reasonable debate with anyone, it was reported by several members, ok you altered it to asking for your money back on unopened bottles, I hope you resolve your issues with PM+ but you have cast accusations against a product with absolutely no detail, there is no way to know whether, the product was at fault or something you were doing, we just don’t know. I would suggest you go to PM+ web site and take their number and phone their unit in normal working hours, they are nice reasonable people but over worked and busy..
Q. how do i make seeds?

A. You take a splinter off my cross, tie a few hairs to one end of it, dip the hairs into the pollen and lightly brush the pistils with it.

Calling me an arse kisser erin ? Think I'm bumping serious posts down the line to kiss arse?

I just want to discuss something with PM erin and hoped that my (vaguely) polite post might get a reply from them whilst they are online as there are various ways to contact the company and it seems the board isnt perhaps the best one.

Simple really
"Hi , what's your preferred method of communication? "

No need for insults mate, I thought we were both just trying to get hold of this company for one reason or another

I'd just like to add to this thread that I've been using the PM hydro range along with the bloom boost for my last two grows with really, really good results, healthy plants and a fantastic end product. I find that the ph can be a bit of a bugger to shift and it also creeps up over a week but it's easily manageable and my plants speak for themselves really ;).

Also yield has been excellent as well so absolutely no complaints from me whatsoever. Keep up the good work chaps :yep:.
