Try a 720p setting on your projector.
A 1080i setting maybe causing the distortion.
Can you post the spec of your unit?

Peace.

Have you tried different refresh rates mutron? The projector might only be happy with 50 or 100 hertz.

Down scaling might help, depending on the source.

Have you considered some sort of religious intervention in the form of a priest. It sounds like poltergeists to me dude, fannying around with the inside workings of the projector to test your patience.

Can your projector take a 60hz input? What is the actual make and model?

whats the video card man? i use a fairly high end card and feed both my monitor and my 50" pioneer plasma. at first i had loads of issues but through playing around with it i did sort it out.

I found that just setting the resolution wasnt enough, but i have to have my pioneer as the 2nd screen when playing games (its a diffrent res to my monitor) and set up the overscan and timings for the hdtv screen on my card.

if you can let me know what projector, video card and how your connecting it up i might be able to help
