Here are some pictures of what we've designed and had made:
The pipe in the cardboard container, has interchangeable bowls and is used in class to demonstrate the different taste and effects produced by the different processes.
The wands shown are borosilicate, quartz, and CP Titanium.
PS: Our cost for the glass on glass tapers water pipe with the diffuser and oil well was $84 at a scientific glass shop.

We periodically present a hands on class on seven of the extractions processes, with tasting of the result at the end, along with a sample of cannabis acetate. Participants must bring designated driver,
We have yet to give our own classes this year, as we are building a new extraction shack, but will be presenting a show and tell extraction class at NGF in Portland, at the end of next month.

I really would love to, but i have a caution for cannabis (is spent in UK but no such thing as spent in US i believe)
I think this makes me a void entry unless i lie on visa or apply to embassy or something like that. You cant enter US with any drug charges.
I am impressed by how things have moved your way, you guys really take this seriously and i respect that. was just looking at eden labs site (Impressive but pricy!
What are the seven processes if you don't mind me asking?
Which is your favourite?
Have you had them analysed to see what process creates the purest/strongest oil?
Thanks for your time

BHO fresh frozen and cured
QWET fresh frozen and cured
QWISO fresh frozen and cured
EToH reflux
BHO fresh frozen followed closely by QWET cured.
No, we haven tested yet, because testing was only recently available locally and they want so much money to do so, that we bought our own used gas chromatograph for less than the cost of 20 tests and hope to start doing our own soon.

Yep understand about the testing, can't beat the guinea pig test anyhow as science does not always agree with practice.
Sounds like you have fun

Do you fancy making a detailed breakdown of your butane reclaimer please Graywolf, my local supplier hadn't restocked when i went to see him this weekend and it made me realize its one of my biggest outlays atm. I'm sure it would make the whole process much safer to, I do a run every day so I'm playing the numbers game.
As Jiff said, look on amazon for a masterclass torch, a fraction of the price of a vector and just as much flame and when ya feeling pervy look out for a Hitman glass torch.

Give me fair warning and I will have tea and crumpets ready!
I will provide a detailed breakdown of the newest automated system that I am building, for any who wish to build one.
Except for drilling about a 1" hole in the center plug and lid, plus Tig welding a couples pieces of Schedule 40 304SS pipe in the holes, everything just screws together on a manual version of it, so they are easy to build.
As this unit is for a paying customer, with expensive tastes, it will be fully automatic, except for loading and unloading, and the automatic ball valve operators are huge, so it will also have some extra supportive framework, that isn't necessary on a manual system.
We will build our own electronics, and supply details, but it could easily be run with three timers, using three pressure switches, or a pressure transducer and a PLC. We looked at the latter and it was so much more expensive that we decided to build our own electronics, based on the simpler former approach.
Lastly, after getting prices back on my own from scratch design of a "cheap" pressure pot for mama and papas, I bought a damned expensive one off the shelf for less money. Because it is so damned expensive, you might search for a cheaper solution for the equivalent lower stainless 120 psi ASTME pressure pot in Europe.
I considered buying just a steel pot and having it stripped and nickle plated as another alternative.
I'll update my thread on the subject, but if I forget, you can always find current status here:

do you dab a bit on the wand and then heat it somehow?
I've seen a few vids but it doesnt make sense to me.
And given that its only a semi solid anyway wouldnt it make more sense to vape it or is that too tricky?

you heat the little glass nail with a torch then dab the wand on the red hot nail. im not sure if you can use oil in a vapourizer, i think it might be too messy.
