How do all,

Ive been using a filter in my joints for nearly 2 years now.

Just wondering if anyone else does it??

And do you think it adds or takes anything away from getting high?

Id say it takes away some of the taste but is much smoother so less harsh on the throat.

Another bonus is none of my pals want to share joints with me lol, they say they get resin on their lips etc... More for me :guitar:

filters all the way here chief! As you say they take away slightly from the taste but not too much, and the smoke is very smooth. Wish my mates didnt want to share my joints, I never want to share theirs coz they roll with baccy, they look forward to smoking mine coz they're always neat these days and they get wrecked bonnie off them :smokin:

Filters are good, imo they mostly catch up the nasty byproducts of combustion allowing the THC to pass freely.
Specially when smoking hash/extractions i prefer to use filters to roaches.

IMO they do filter out a bit of THC, probably the stuff that boils off rather than being combusted?

Just seemed to get higher off a non-filtered but difference is barely noticeable.

I'm a filter smoker too. Changed over when I quit baccy as it made the joint smoother.

It's got to have a roach imo, more for the taste than anything.

Ive never used filters. for years everyone around me always used roachs and said that a filter will filter the THC. which I thought made sense.

Isnt that why we have roaches? or else everyone would just use filters all the time and you wouldnt see those roach books in headshops?

Due to using Higlander Papers for years this is ample for my smoking needs.

For smoking spliffs..yes I switched to filters about 6 months ago, and have not looked back. It doesn't filter out THC/CBN/CBD at all - but it does filter out a load of tar and other crap that you really don't want anywhere near you.

I do vape most of my weed these days, but there are still times when I'll skin up with some mates (always spliffs, never a pure J) and we all agree that it's much nicer, smoother and doesn't affect the high.

I can't imagine how I used to smoke 10-20 unfiltered (i.e. roached) spliffs a day a few years ago - just can't do that now, i'm so used to the smoothness of filtered J's!

Oh so im not the only one then haha.

Top post man i agree with everything there.

Nice to see a few of you here do the same,

I cut my filters down a bit everytime after alot of experimenting and if i don't have slim filters i cut them length ways also, i find this helps you from going blue in the face trying to get a decent hit.

Anyone else cut em down? I find it really helps, while still capturing all the nasty shite.

I've always used filters, swan smooth all the way now, carbon filter made of cocoa husks in the middle.

I still get smashed pretty good.

I use to use filters in my joints when I smoked rollies as I had them at hand. I didn't notice a difference in high.

Tbh I miss em, I should just buy a load as finding decent roach material is a pain in the arse.

Or even better if I can remember where I put my pipe lol
