I believe you, perhaps you might tell us how you grew them.
These plants can have massive root systems. How large where the pots mate.
I have just harvested my second grow under a small HPS.
Grew 2 plants in airpots using GHe 3 part. Bloody amazed at the harvest.
The flwering time was 8 weeks 3 days. IG has a very distictive smell. Tropical citrusy. You get that mate ?

They do but you might want to have a read of the sticky at the top of the forum.

the reason i choose the strain was because it sounded like a good one, i done my research etc beforehand and was expecting something very nice!
they were grown in a small NFT tray using Ionic nutes, veg'd under a 4 and flowered under a 6 like i'd usually do, my gallery will show u what my buds are usually like, i doubt it's something to do with my growing techique or area, i've been at this for quite sometime now and never have problems with my plants/buddage, it does have a slight citrusy/grapefruity smell.
looking at the main buds hanging up i'm going to be lucky if theres an O of bud, can not believe this what a bloody nightmare gah! pretty peev'd off at the moment and not sure what way to go from here.

I will take your word that you know what you are doing.
Not tried Ionic. Grew with Ghe 3 part.
It may be the style of grow. The first time I grew IG, noticed how vigourus the roots were. Wanted to give them more room this time.
They grew in 6 liter airpots with multiple drippers. Next time will be a 20 liter airpot. Just to see what happens.
The roots seemed to like the hydroton pebbles. Perhaps this plant likes its roots to have a lot of grip for stability. Not tried NFT myself so do not know how the roots grow.

I've read very, very little negative feedback about Female Seeds, they have some great strains! I'm might just give their Pure AK another blast, top smoke that was!

I can't say anything about dutch passion personally as i think ive only ever grown out there powerplant once and it was ok but fairly standard in taste and high but each to there own i guess.
The colour of the leaves seem to say your plant has had some cold temp's as your getting crazy leaf colour which i wouldn only attribute to low temps.

This post should be moved to the Duch passion grow forum.
The bad reputation it brings belongs elsewhere.
