Hello RealMed,
I did analyse 26 Otto#1 plants (young plants) - and only had 1 high CBD plant. Sadly this one is a male.... :-(
All others were high THC or something like 2:1 1:1 1:2.
I know testing as young plants is not the best thing, but I don't have the space and don't want to grow THC plants.
My experience is, if young plants show THC spots - THC gets much more within flowering. So I don't give plants like that a chance...
(I even wouldn't know what to do with this THC weed, I don't smoke)
I learned my lesson... no more tests until a seedbank offers a high CBD low THC strain...
Hope this is going to happen soon
If I find a male that's only CBD I will be very happy as I plan on breeding it to a Harlequin cut. It really isn't hard to breed for CBD and I really don't understand why no seed Co. hasn't came out with one yet. TBH that is part of my plan, People with seizure, and me with Asthma I think would benefit from High CBD with very little THC. The 1.1 or 2.1 most people like as they still get the head high and the CBD helps with the Body, I don't always want to be high to feel better..
CBD is a Co-dom so if you would have kept the male and breed it to a 2.1 girl 50% of the seeds would have been high CBD and low THC. I will test my Males when I know there sex in hopes to find a CBD Male.
I had to say that my back feels much better today

but yesterday Harlequin did help and it lasted a lot longer then I thought it would, about 6 hours before I started hurting bad enough to stop me! I haven't had anything yet but am getting ready to as I have to much work to do today to stop from a little pain..
