e2a:
That doesn't read too awkwardly does it? How about: 'he will suffer a grisly doomy horror fate'? Or, 'Suffer, he will, a horrific, and doomy, fate of grisliness'?

yes for that is the preordained fate of the corrupt, the disgusting and the disgustingly corrupt.

That is some hackneyed shit that is.

- Do you know what you get if you cross a sheep with a kangaroo?
- A woolly jumper?
- No. It was horrible. We had to kill it with a shovel.

Peter is ignoring all calls for an election, saying he's staying in power until 2014

Quote

To all fellow CLEAR members

Most of you will be unaware of how Peter was elected leader of CLEAR, in the leadership election there were a total of 37 votes received

Peter as leader - 23 votes
Stuart as leader -1 vote
Both as leader - 8 votes
Neither as leader - 5 votes

Peter was only elected to the position of leader by 23 votes, that is not a mandate, it is no wonder there is discontent in the party. Peter then appointed people to the Executive Committee

Mark Palmer is calling himself Deputy Leader, he hasn't been elected either

Sanj Chowdhary has announced that he will challenge Peter for the leadership but Peter has said that he is staying in power until 2014.

That is unacceptable, we need an election for leader and the Executive Committee members

CLEAR belongs to us the members and an effective leader requires a mandate, give us our say!

The way he's ducking and dodging all the questions on facebook is comical.
For the record, I'm not actually a dog... or green.

Sanj Chowdhary has made an announcemnt regarding his leadership challenge and Peter Reynolds is insisting that he's staying in power until 2014, so it looks like there will be a battle just to get the election

23 votes is NO mandate

Quote

Sanj Chowdhary

My announcement yesterday wasn't made at the best of times for me, I had a lot on and still do...I've got guests coming to stay for a few days......

But I will give you all the following firm commitments:

If elected as Leader my immediate response will be to propose the abolition of the the position of Leader, and disolve the Executive Committee.

I will then present a comprehensive proposal to the membership regarding restructuring of the organisation to put the power into the hands of the membership. (this is something I will start consultations on with the cannabis community on monday)

The election of a steering committee who will be responsible in assisting and guiding the direction of the organisation in accordance with the members' wishes.

Introduce a system for participatory democracy

Utilise the strengths and ideas of the movement as a whole not just a self appointed inner circle.

Above all I don't want or need to be Leader....and I don't think the movement needs a Leader. The purpose of a Leader is to inspire, motivate, and help the movement to realise their dream for themselves. To use their experience to help steer the campaign in the right direction. We don't need a single person to do that when we have a whole host of highly skilled, experienced and talented people involved in the movement. Why focus on one when we have a plethora of people who could together inspire the masses!

When you can't put all the fuckwits on ignore it's time to go

One day after a heavy eating session in a Harvester, I had a turd that just wouldn't flush, no matter how many times I flushed the toilet it kept bobbing back up and winking at me. I had to break it up with an old wooden spoon. It's not a million miles away is it?
