What a hack isn't..
When you are breading two lines you have a goal in mind and generally from what you already know the P1 genetics can bring to the table from previous field trials.. You make a first cross to blend the genetics and then depending on how you are going about it start the arduous task of selecting desirable traits after the next cross to start edging towards your goal.. After years of trials and many, many dead ends with different male lines a strain is born..(If you are lucky or more to the point know what you are doing)
What a hack is..
A hack could be described as any seed that is untested, or seed that is produced for producing seed sake..
It is an f1 from one seed bank bred with an f1 from another seed bank and then sold on as a new strain by a third seed bank.
It is taking some ones work on an IBL over years breeding it with an Afghan/skunk and calling it it's original name but with a spelling mistake.
A hack is also having a go yourself for fun..

Wadup papaduc,
no im talking about growth and vigour. i worked and helped grow at a medicinal dispencery in Cali for a few years, we had 4 different OG moms. SFV, $100 OG Kush, tahoe and ghost. All of them were prety similar yielding, I would call it around average (for example from 1m2 with 600w around 350-400g) emerald triangle state their lost coast has wide internodal spacing and rapid veg growth, I didnt experience this, but quite the opposite in fact, slow to grow, and very compact. I've been growing for 19years so please dont say it could be my methods. And the devolopment of bud is poor, shes been in 12/12 for around 4 weeks now, and emerald triangle state its an 8/9 week strain, well at 9 weeks if shes finished I'll have about a 1/2 of the yield that any other og would give I have grown before.
Mickeymouser hope your good,
na I havnt tried supersour, though I like your description, but after the bullshit with the lost coast Im not sure if I wanna spend more on their beans.
Have you got any pics of your emerald triangle in flower? what was the yield like with the sour?

just one clone from et as I got a 6 pack, 4 were males and the other one was a total runt that didnt look good at all.
So I was left with 1 female I thought would be a good keeper, though obviously not.
I think I will take a couple more clones and give her one last chance before execution
Though if this clone is going shit, the rest will be similar I would guuess

Thanks for sharing your pics man, shit if mine grew half like these I would be happy.
That stringy lil bitch you got there, mines is like that, though not as stretched, with poor bud production.
Possibly just an unlucky pheno, who knows. Though I may buy a few single seeds from et and see what I get.
Im runnin some of neweragenetics ladylush at the minute, around 1 week to go, and she is a great all round strain, though I havnt smoked her yet
Though she smells as they describe, grew as they describe and is similar to pics they have of theirs,so I can def say thanks neweragenetics for your honesty and hard work for this one.

Do you really think that one plant is a fair representation of the strain or the company?

I bought a 6 pack at £30 and as I said 4 males, 2 females, 4 males were chopped and the other female was even worse than the runt I have. So I kept the best from a 6 pack. Dont even recommend buying female seeds, as I will not be doing this!!
Ive bought many many packs of seeds OVER THE YEARS, and with a couple of females I always get something at least average.
This plant I kept, was the best from a 6 pack, and was well below average.
Also got a 6 pack of the ladylush i mentioned, 3 males 3 females, killed males and the 3 females are all decent, and similar.i will be keeping one as a mom for a while at least.
i feel this is what should happen from a 6 pack, im not wasting time and money growing shit out to find maybe 1 decent bitch

I got a 10 pack of seeds from them, just finishin up now, nothing like their description, not one plant
Very disappointed, Emerald Triangle aren't what they claim. If you want good American based strains, Cali Connection all the way
So the above statement is completely untrue??
As, I think, Mickey said, you're talking out your arse!

No offense, but I know I won't be reading into anything you've said about the ET based on this.
