So, big Buddha is releasing the Tahoe og...I smoked this at green place last week and it was extremely good...I wonder if it was the clone they used during the cup...either way, wonder how this will pan out!

Big Budda are not doin a Tahoe OG, it's the Cali Connections version but the coffee shop that entered it was embaressd to say it was actually from CC. The dutch think CC are a total joke and Swerve himself is a master knobhead too. Do a bit of research into them and you'll see.
There is a big kick off goin down on the official CC forum atm between their mod and the lengendary troll OG Raskal. ok so before I do call BS on all this can you link me to the shit on the CC forum? Maybe its all gone now but I wasn't able to find it.

Why on earth is OG Raskal a rip off artist? Provided lots and lots of people with excellent quality beans. He has even made effort to sort out problems from a certain forum on the forum his beans are now available from. What cons?

Have you actually met and spoken to any of these people? Have you anything but rumour and claims made by those trying to compete with them?

Had nothing but great experiences from both these breders. The chem valley kush from cali, the white bubba and purple urkle x blue moonshine from OGR are probably my top 3 strains I have grown myself.

Smoked some of that Tahoe at the cup and while the taste and smell are very nice the hit is not as strong as I hoped.

What do you find lacking in them Owd? What strains would you put up there as being something they should be comparable to or compete with? As a reference I know you have smoked plenty of cheese and I would say that the 3 strains I mention in my previous post all beat the cheese. True the pu x bm ain't a kush. Another would be biker OG from Karma genetics which I think should have placed in the cup this year. Really think you are missing out by ignoring the kush. Doesn't even have to be bred by yanks now if thats the problem?

Thats correct. On the other hand, I had no problems with Swerves gear myself when i ran some.. although none of them where keepers. But i havent touched any other of his gear since all the auto prob's arised.

Logic ripped people off not Ogr, i think it was about 3/4weeks after the preorder there was about 3/4 people saying they didnt get there beans, ogr put up a thread the same day these post where posted, asking any others whos didnt get there beans... The thread was closed pretty instantly after more where replying with missing orders by Logic, and Ogr was banned. Ogr has found a new place, and is trying to replace as much as possible(as mello knows.)

I suppose i could be be part of that group(not saying your aiming at me though..) since i have a interest in strains across the pond.. Most which are old stock which have been preserved and reworked strains yesteryears.. And like i can tell you havent searched far, theres more than kush across the pond.. Although there is alot to keep away from, a lil researching helps..

eta: i could be a ugorg fanboy too though since i have most of there gear aswell..

Guys none of this surprises me. I've just spent a month with Swerve and his "crew". They were a bunch of clowns and after meeting them I can understand how stuff like this happens. Swerve actually refused to pay me and flopped the show. Cali Connection is a total joke and males out of fem seeds should put these con artists to bed. They are taking med patients for a ride the world over and nobdy in Holland was impressed with them at all.

JAHRoots and Roach. If I were you I'd go to the SFCup and have it out with them there. Believe me when I say they're scared little kids who'll just shit their pants if you do it right. Go get your money and enjoy it.

I germed 200 CC seeds and around 30% auto'd . People on this site know this but I didn't announce it publicly to save Swervie boy the embarrassment.

As for the details. Swerve lost a shit ton of money because he has a massive ego but tiny bollocks. Plenty of people in Amsterdam are laughing. The coffee shop that entered his weed entered it as Buddah Tahoe OG (as in Big Buddah Seeds), the stand was a joke(check Youtube/flickr for pics) and hardly anybody bought any seeds because we didn't engage the public with bong hits, girls in tight tops and by being friendly and sociable.

At the end of it he turned around and told me he didn't have the money to pay me and that I wasn't worth paying. I laughed and said goodbye to the wanker. TBC

I truly hope that people who saw the CC at the Cup spread the word about how crappy and unprofessional Swerve's set up looked. Anyone that saw it can say with a great degree of certainty that he couldn't organise a piss-up in a brewery let alone produce stable well tested seeds. Anyone, including myself, who has grown the seeds will tell you they're mostly bunk with a tiny percentage of good plants to be found........ Goodbye Cali Con.

Up to yet I find them lacking in everything, taste, complexity, potency. I tried as many as I could when in Dam over the past couple of years and I havent had one good one. I know there are some corkers out there because a good friend has been over the pond and smoked them

I havent smoked plenty of cheese as it happens and I certainly wouldnt be putting it as any benchmark unless it was for smell. Ive been smoking now for over 30 years so my benchmarks are NL5/H, Cat Piss WW, ES, Blues, Flo, to name just a few. Ive been to numerous shows and been blown away with some of the smokes Ive had. Panama springs to mind, that had a group of us in its grasp. Most of my golden oldies are just that, oldies. I like something different and thats why Ugorg got my attention and continue to do so. I'm no different to anyone else, I like what I like and get what I want and up to yet havent unfortunately wanted a Kush. The best Kush I did try was Pink Kush from Amnesia I think it was. Strong Indica hit but was just an half hour mongy stone, which to me is just run of the mill

I'm not ignoring the Kush at all, I'd love to find one thats great, I just havent seen whats supposed to be special about it yet plus the yanks seem to be doing with Kush's what Holland did with the Afghani and crossing it with everything. I'm not so naive as to leave something alone because of who bred it. If its good I dont give a toss who it came from tbh.
