Beanpopper I'm probably gonna stick with a regular Prima filter, I can get CAN filters but i don't know what they are like. I've been using the Prima Filters since i got growing again over here and they seem to be ok, I've have my current one for 7months it's ok but i fear 12/14 months will be the end. Only problem is they are bloody big to replace and throwout.
The filters are basically the only thing from my grows that i have to throwout. everything else gets reused or goes into one of my worm farms. I don't really fancy making one when the size prima filter i need for the drobe is £25.
pukka bob I would never have grown an auto if it wasn't for sweet seeds making it so irresistible. I like the BJA great spicy/fruity tones and a lovely high, I haven't grown CCA but i think the Cream Caramel Auto will yield a little more on average. I went for the non Auto CC for this diary.
Amnesia Welcome mate thanks for popping by, I'm generally a topper, except for the autos, I very rarely let a the plants grow to their natural shape, I find i yield more when i top, so I'll definitely be keeping to it for this grow. Thanks for the advice though, seems the Sweet Cheese are definitely looking like good candidates for the SCROG.
I thought i'd post a couple more pics of the work on the drobe. My budget for this drobe really only covered the cupboard, fan & filter. I had the Ballast and reflector already. I've tried to do everything else on the extremely cheap.
This is my high tech light proofing of the door.
My Passive intake (still drilling more holes)
The way my passive will be setup, there is a box on the outside of the cupboard that will help to stop light leaking. pictures to come.
