I made a small growbox, 2x2ft floor/ceiling and 3ft walls so it's for shorties, i have two lowryder #2's in there, one of them died.

This is my first grow so i've made a couple of cockups and they're a bit small but i've learned a lot so ...

excellent guide serpent after my last nebula femmed scrog attempt went ladyboy (luckily second week 12/12 i noticed ) i ditched the lot and got meself some black widow (mr nice) but due to it putting me back 7-8 weeks theres a good chance i could run dry for the first time in a couple of years so after reading and reading your guide i got myself some short stuff blue himilayer diesel and an onyx and some world of seed pakistan rider .there now at day 13 and looking good and healthy ,i will be defo running autos in my other tent in a pepetual grow maybe cracking one every week .as im still new to the auto side who,s and what are the best to go for ?

Hi there Serpent, Glad I found this as im 3 weeks into 2 autos and new to growing and this is my 1st time with them, I seen u say to take the lights down to 18/24, do u think this would still benifit me as I got them under 400hps for 12 hours then under a 125 blue cfl for 12 hours ,(The elec dont bother me as I have other plants under both sets of lights and the cfl is left on 24 hours.)
If so should I take them away from the cfl as there 3 weeks old now ? or shell I leave it as it is ?

i poted up from 3 inch pots after a couple of days of them sticking their heads above ground into 7.5 litre final pots wich they been in now for just over 2 weeks and the roots have exploded out the bottom .with regs this would take me between 6-8 weeks to achieve the same results .is this common with autos ? i can hardly see the holes in the bottom of the pots for the amount of roots comming through .and i fdidnt even use granules i had just ran out and was waiting for a delivery .

i was only doing a couple of autos while my main crop of black widow was doing but after following this guide i like what ive seen so far .and maybe going to auto all the time now .have to see what they smoke like but if there anything like the smell iknow i wont be dissapointed .heres a few pics of my onyx (shortstuff) at 7 weeks think she will probably take another 2-4 weeks www.uk420.com/boards/index.php?app=gallery&module=images&img=77488][/URL]

Thanks for the guide Serpent, you may remember this thread of mine. Well thanks for the tips (& as mentioned this guide), all my autos have popped & are doing well . I have a mix of AK, Big bang & amphetamine (plants not the other!).

On the Big bang packet it says 18/6, on the amphetamine it says 20/4. What would you do?

Arite guys, just thought this may help. Im just in the last few weeks of my 1st grow with normal, seeds, but I tried to germinate 6 auto northern light blue, 2 never popped at all in root riot cubes, so I left another 2 in a glass for under 24 hours, just til they cracked, then stuck those 2 in cubes&they showed face a cpl of days later, then like a pure daftie, stuck another 2 in cubes that hadnt been soaked & put the 4 in cubes at the same time, the 2 hadnt been soaked werent showing face, so I split the cubes awee bit, just aswell I did, as ive managed to salvage 1, thats head was folded down the way & 1 of the false leaves is twice the size of the other one & the biggest false leave was brown & it wasnt til I sprayed it with water & looking at it side on you could see it had a very tiny pair 1st real leaves, you could even see the wee serations on them, now has anyone ever seen a plant popping soil & having false leaves & tiny real leaves.Is not usual the case, its false leaves then the coleydons follow? Well, I think your better soaking them 1st til the seed has cracked.

Arite Troops, im growing a couple of delicious seeds northern light blue, my main nutes im using is canna vega & flores & im wondering how long into the breeders rec of 60-65 days would I switch from the vega & could anyone recommend when to start using the cannaboost? And the PK/1314 is meant to be used for 3-6 days halfway through flowering, when would that be with the auto? its my 1st grow never mind with autos. And can anyone recommend how old the plants should be before being safe to use the PM Evoloution, they are only a week old & dont want to risk killing them, as I only got 2 seeds to germinate out of 6. So, I dont want to chance it & when can I start using the PM root stimulant? Do I need to wait until the roots show through at the bottom of the pot. Thank you in advance troops

Hi serp,
I am new to autos and usually go from cuttings. I started a thread asking for any advice on how to get best I can out of my girls and I was told your the man regards autos. I have currently just cracked 2 Green Poison and 2 Fast Bud#2. I have currently got them under a 250cfl and was planning to change them over to a 600hps. At wot age would you recommend I change the light. Also I have various size pots 8ltr,10ltr,11ltr,12ltr and 15ltr, which size would you recommend? If you have any other advice regarding them 2 Sweet Seed varieties, green Poison and fast bud#2, then please feel free to tell me all.
