Hi wanted to try some Sweet Seeds (Speed Devil) a few months ago but they were out of stock on Attitude. So i purchased some "other" AUTO's.... However all didn't go to plan and although we had something to smoke at the end of it the plants suffer a lot with some issue that i could not remedy. However i was impressed by the speed of growth AND with the strength of the end product . So after reading (here) about the Creme Caramel i was delighted to see Sweet Seeds had an AUTO var so here we go!.....

New version of our Cream Caramel autoflowering. Result of crossing our best strains autoflowering with Caramel Cream. Automatic top quality, with dense buds and copious resin production, intense sweet earthy aroma, fast flowering, strong effect and great hybrid vigor. The r-evolution of autoflowering has come at the end of the flowering plants reach the same resinous and desirable than their sisters-autoflowering.

Techical Data
Autoflowering 100%
THC: 18% CBD: 1,6% CBN: 0,4%
Yield indoor: 350-500gr/m2
Yield Outdoor: 35-100gr/plant
Flowering indoor: 5 weeks
Harvest Interior / Exterior: 8 weeks from germination
Height: 40-90cm.

Im at day 8 now and have to say that all is going well for this grow i have changed the Organic compost i use to New Horizon Peat Free Compost. I have used Fertile Fibre Potting Mix up to now but ran out during a grow and purchased a small bag of New Horizon to tide me over till the delivery arrived. I was so impressed that for this grow i have decided to give the New Horizon a shot by itself. Another bonus is that for around £14 i can get 100L of this delivered BUT i was paying around that for 60L of Fertile Fibre!

However when the 100L did turn up it was found to contain far to much uncomposted bark and even specks of gloss paint!! (old doors!!). Forcing me to spend 2 days painstakingly sifting the bits out with the girlfriends colander . to this sifted mix i added wormcasts and some rockdust for good measure. The girls popped up after 2 days and have been growing like wildfire.

I have access to various Plant Magic products and will be using those WHEN needed (if!) for this grow i have tried to get back to basics and have tried to include more good things into the compost mix and hopefully be less reliant on me "feeding" them nutes which MAY have been part of the problems last time. The girls have been "dosed" with Magic Granules in the seed hole and have had a very small amount of Bio Silicon (a few drops!) into one of there waterings Here are some pics @ Day 8 (today).

Thanx.

Hi mate, nice one, I'm personally a fan of Cream Caramel Auto, in my opinion the best among the new Sweet Seeds super-autos. Hope you enjoy them...

They're starting well, looking very good, keep it sweet!

Thanks for all the kind words. I hope i can nurse these CC's to the end this time. They are growing nice and fast and are the picture of health so far. I think the only problem i can see is that unfortunately by removing all of the "bits" from the compost it appears to be compacting slightly (and the fact that my "toy" watering can ain't got a rose on it is making it worse!).

What is a good thing to add to the mix to add some drainage/loosen it up a bit? (i have about 70L+ or so left). I was thinking about washed sharp sand or coir? would say purchasing a block of coir and wetting/mixing this into the compost "dilute" it to much (making it a light mix?). As im trying to do these AUTO's on (hopefully) just the nutes in the compost (got some OT Bloom if it goes "south").

Any input would be greatly appreciated as im trying to "go easy" on the nutes/fussing/worrying this time lol! but would hate to be hampered by something so silly as compacted compost!!

Thanx.

Hi Darkstalker420!

To add some drainage/loosen it up a bit I use perlite. Mixing some 10-15% to the soil mix will be enough. They appreciate it. But of course there may be many other good options.

Keep it sweet! :stoned:

Thanks for the advice tommy (have some round here.... Somewhere!). Day 11 now and the four girls are still pushing on may pot up into the 6" pots later as don't want them to spend to much time in small pots! Noticed a VERY small amount of leaf twist on the last watering so will hold out on the Bio Silicon so just plain bubbled water next time.

Have to say im liking the "Fat Indica" looking one (love my "Indy's") def looking forward to trying these :spliff:! Here are some pix.

Thanx.

Day 13 now and the girls are residing in their new 6" pots. Quite a bit of leaf twist going on AND some droopiness for good measure! Still think that the compost is compacting SO i have been reading about the wonderful thing that is Fytocell and will be purchasing some from Greens (when finances permit). Also the day before i potted up they got watered (then AGAIN! when i potted up) so these girls need to dry out a bit and all should be well again).

Here is a pic of the "Fat Indica" lol. (Note the leaf margins twisting). and since my AUTO diary last time wasn't exactly "hundreds of pages" i've decided that i will post the pics at a larger size/quality as the phone cam seems to be poor when reduced.

Thanx.

Top shot of which until pot up was the smallest of the girls. She seems to have stretched her legs since being dropped in her new home and has now overtaken the "Fat Indica" (which was the largest prior to the move).

Thanx.

Looking good DS and yeah might be worth letting them dry out for a day or so before next watering, you might also wanna consider Plant Magic Bio-Wetter as that helps with compacted soil, I used some of my 1st grow and seemed to do the trick.

Keep it green :yep:

Hi tommy hi Serpent glad you could pop in. Yeah me girls are looking a bit droopy def struggling in this compost. My own fault really (although there was FAR to much bark/junk to let it slide) i can still see the join between the old compost from the 4" pots and the new mix in the 6" pots its like it's almost refusing to "knit" together!

Every time i pick up a pot it flexes and causes a big rift  to open at the joining composts and im worried my ham fisted handling is going to tear up the roots :ouch:!! Serpent im guessing that the Bio Wetter is a Yucca extract? If so could i get the compound from a real Yucca plant?? (won't be able to "buy" some for a while and my mother has a Yucca in her garden). Would it just be a case of mashing up a leaf or two and adding a small amount to my water?? (or is there some sort of "extraction" that is beyond DIY?).

Thanks tommy yes im very happy with the girls not a lot to distinguish between at the moment and today i began to notice a nice smell coming from my Drobe (one almost has a Coffee smell!). If these girls turn out as i hope i could be "putting my feet up" in the Sweet Seeds section for a while (looking at some of the other AUTO's..... Especially you Mr Black Jack YUM YUM!).

Thanx.

It is DS, I've no idea how you would do it though, PM reckon its quite a complex process, there's a thread on this forum about here, hope that helps :yep:
