It's a genuine offer. Fair enough, if the world does end then clearly I have nothing to lose. But some people say that they think the world will end. If they are right then they have nothing to lose either. So they should show me the courage of their conviction, if they really think the world will end then they have nothing to lose. So they can either take me up on my offer, or shut the fuck up. It's their choice.

No.

One of the Mayan calendars (they had a number of different calendars) happened to end in 2012. All calendars have to end. The Mayan civilization just ended before they needed to start a new one (and I reiterate it was only ONE of the numerous Mayan calendars that ended in 2012). Had the Mayan civilization not ended it would have started a new calendar when required, beginning in 2013.
