Hey 420 just a quickie, as the actress said to the bishop

Does anyone know if this stuff is pure butane suitable for our purposes?
mega1.jpg

it just says: "butane gass for portable gas range" doesnt say "near zero impurities" or mention any other ingredients.

Thing is its very, very well priced round by me, and I can pick some up for next to nothing. Good enough reason in its self, but also I dont need to worry about being refused more than one can of Newport on the basis of potential solvent abuse, and end up spending more on petrol running around looking for it than the fucking butane itself!

The stuff is made in Korea and I cant find a website. Any of you heads ever use this stuff?

Peace out

Loto

If you have one of them larger pound stores in your land you could buy London zero impurities for a pound.land

I'm not sure about that stuff. I would avoid it. You really want the stuff that chefs use in their blow torches.

With no information to go on, your guess is as good as anyone else's. You can spray some on a mirror and check for residue but I wouldn't recommend using anything that doesn't atleast say ultra refined, triple refined and preferably near zero impurities. You can get London gas for a quid at poundland, surely there must be one somewhere near you.

EDIT: You beat me to it discharged!

Look in catering supply paces or kitchen stores that sell top equipment. The butane used in their blow torches needs to be refined.

Perhaps you can look in the yellow pages for tobacconist suppliers and pick up a couple of dozen wholesale. If they say that they have a minimum order of say 50 euros, then ask if you can spend less than this and pay a small surcharge.

That stuff you've posted on the op is the stuff that goes in my camping stove. I seriously doubt that it is anywhere near pure. Only way to know is to do a test ie a dry run.

good thinking M8! what about butane for plumbers torches?

2.50 :ouch:

ISO is cheap off flebay ;) if you can't get butane...

Mrm :v:

the laws in this country are really really weird. You can get ISO in a chemist, but they have to sell it at the same price as vodka (seriously) otherwise obviously, because all Irish people are alcoholics, we would drink it because its cheaper.

Totally baclward. anyway the problem with that is getting bulky stuff into the repyblic and the P&P usually brings it back to a ridiculous price. Might even draw unwanted attention

Also good thinking Gunna - will ruminate on it

dry run as in do an extract and smoke it? Dont really see how that would help. not really very scientific. youd prolly be ok but no reall way to know if it was pure either way.

I have 4 cans but I'll hold off until I get deffo info on this one.

Id kill for some bubble bags. Anyone need someone to "go away"?

I meant dry run as in without any weed, just empty the can into your cafetiere then pour into Pyrex dish and let it evaporate. If there's any residue left in the dish it's not pure.
