Could anyone be kind enough to tell me how many plants I could put under each 600w sodium light in the flowering stage. If I was growing uk cheese. I am thinking less is more, as far as the yield is concerned, but obviously if I knew I wouldnt be asking for advice!! I dont want to crowd the room as Im thinking the yield would be affected but on the other hand it may not matter? The room could possibly be 184 sq ft for flowering only. Thanks in advance for any help you guys can give me, all comments respected and appreciated.

Well mate, i have 4 in 14ltr pots (i think as i`m not sure but they are deffo bigger than my 11ltr potts)
and 2 in 3 ltr pots jacked up to fit the gaps in the cannopy, i`m running a .8sqm i reckon with 600w hps, this is the most i`ve tried and i`m trying for maximum crop this time maybe, who knows, but as Withnail once said...I hate a break in my canopy.

Could be 100 or could 1 but me personally would go for either 4 or 9 or maybe 12.

Start with 4 or 5 per light and dick about with the veg times until you get full canopies on harvest day.

I don`t think it matters on plant numbers, if you can fill the canopy you`re sorted ;)

cant do a scrog as i have seperate vegging and flowering areas, so i'd imagine its a nightmare moving them out from under the net from tent to tent.

anyway i read somewhere that 1 plant per 100w of light with a months veg is ideal.

Apart from the grow in my sig, all my scrogs have been started once they've left the veg tent, using the 12/12 stretch to fill the screen. Doesn't always fill the screen but still close to 50% more yield over letting them grow free range.

i,ve only done 4 grows with 600watt
1. 17 plants, 5 week veg= 22oz, canna nutes
2.12 plants 5 week veg = 17oz canna nutes
3.8 plants 5 weeks veg= 14.oz
4. 7 plants fem, 5 weeks veg= 12.5oz, plant magic granuals, boost and silicone.

i let them grow naturaly and frequently turn the plants throught the week to allow light to reach all the plant.

suits me fine.
