Hi Maui Wowie Arnold has answered your question really mate.

You wont need any nutes for at least a few weeks but use the granules at each potting stage.

Personally i feed em plain water for at least the first four weeks unless they look hungry but they rarely do mate.

As far as fungi and pest resistance i would recommend essense which i believe can be giving to the little uns.

Hope this helps a bit.

itchy fingies.. off work so I thought about buying another 20 odd seeds just to do something but think it's too late..!

[quote name='Arnold Layne' date='Jun 10 2010, . No point feeding a plant that aint hungry!

The Oldtimer range is organic, and the great need in organics is patience. Trying to manipulate and speed things along does not sit well with organics. However, you can certainly encourage and stimulate rapid root growth by providing an optimum growing situation. Part of that would certainly be the proper use of Granules and Bio-Silicon. A touch of rock-dust won't go amiss either :guitar: And a splash of SM3 (even better used as foliar spray) :spliff: :spliff:
Not sure what you mean by "GG'ed", sorry. :naughty:

Hi jon,

SM3 is a 15% seaweed extract available from good garden centres :)

Our catalyst is in fact a 30% seaweed extract just so you know

Also, the beneficials aren't a bare essential. The main things I would recomend to anyone would definately be the granules and a bloom fertilizer, everything else you can get by without but obviously if used will compliment the crop and give a better improvement. I just wanted to point out that if money is tight the only things you really need is the bloom and granules IMO.

I've just ordered some of this, so look forward to seeing how it goes. Also opted for a pot of granules too.

a flush through is necessary to clean the whole plant.

This is a myth in organic, you`ll just be starving the plant of nutrients mate, cut down by all means but plain water is pointless imo

Granules are awesome.

I really like the other stuff too... but love the granules. I got a freebie pot ages back and have not been without some since!

Just trying the compost at the moment so will let you know what I think!

Oh yeah.. the grow is pretty bloody good too!

@ Jon: I use SM3 purely because I happen to have a big bottle of it in my Grow-kit. Had it for yonks, but will be replacing it with PM's alternative when its run out, I suspect. So far, PM's stuff has proved itself vastly superior to other brands out there and item by item I am replacing almost everything in my little box of tricks.

@Plantmagic: Can you tell me how and where you get your seaweed extract? Obviously I don't want the inner details of all your business doings, that'd be silly! But I am always seeking to be as organic as I can be without losing quality of grow, and that's the context of my question. I know its good stuff, I have a sampler that I've tried. Bugger me, it does make the plants jump a bit doesn't it? In a very good way, I hasten to add!

By the by, I'm just coming to the end of another crop using just your Bloom. This is crop number two using it. Number one saw me break a personal Grow-room record with 7.5Oz coming off four plants under a 250 bulb. I think I may be about to crack 8 on this crop, but I'll let you know. Folks can draw their own conclusions, but on BioBizz nutes 6.5 was my record, and that was hard work. PM stuff, on the other hand, not only saw that 7.5Oz coming off, but the condition of the plants throughout the grow was awesomely excellent. As it is again in this current grow. I've just about finished helping someone set up a (Med) grow and am making sure they use only your gear. There's nowt to even stand alongside it IMO. Keep up the good work, is all I got to say to you guys!!

The granules are amazing .
Ive just finished my first pot of it and cannot believe how much difference they've made to root growth.
I've also just started using the bio-silicon , and I have to say its awesome stuff. You can literally see the effects a few days after the first application. Stems are stronger , and much more difficult to supercrop , this means (I hope ) that I won't have to be messing around (so much) with bamboo supports in th final weeks of flowering .

I also now have the root stim , and catalyst , and OT organic range , but I'm just finishing off the biobizz nutes at the mo.

I'll happily update with results after putting the full range to test .

I recommend PM stuff whole-heartedly , and will be trying the compost mix in the autumn.

Thanks PM , and keep up the good work.

Can this be used outdoors?

Not seen anybody using it in Guerrilla Growing forums. I've already bought 1 Litres worth, plan to use it with the Bloom too (outdoors).
