Police take TV from home after cannabis plants found
POLICE discovered 12 suspected cannabis plants when they raided a building in Southowram. Officers from the Halifax Central neighbourhood policing team seized the plants along with equipment used for growing and supplying drugs from the property in the Law Lane area. They also took a large flat screen TV and other electrical items under the Proceeds of Crime Act. A spokesman for the team said: "We are determined to crack down on drugs and drug-related crime in your area. I'm guessing it's like if you had a load of cash, the police would take that as possible evidence, now they're just taking anything of value? Not sure whether that'd be under POCA though.

It's a nightmare these days.iv put my car,van,bikes in my misses name so if I did get caught they can't touch them as the grow room ain't at home and she does not know about it.someone I know has had over 250 grands worth of stuff taken off him and coz he can't prove where the money came from.I only grow 8 plants but better to be safe.
