a'dam is very commercial, but i still love it!

i dont grown my own yet, so having a good choice like in a'dam is great for me. Even if compared to the rest of holland it is comeriial shite weed.

i hope to work in leiden, 20mins by train from a'dam 1 summer and sample some proper dutch grass. But before that i have plans for switzerland, was gona go to christiana but area cshutting down, and ofocurse am of to Canada in a few months.

but i will still go back to a'dam, u cant beat being able to walk round with dope in ur pockets no problem.

it kind of scares me knowing that some one might have sprayed hair spray or even worse shit on the buds that we smoke...

as far as "shaken" buds i m sure it happens. MAny dealers do it and have joints full of crystals...

Now as far as Adam. There are maybe a couple of places (green house one of them) that sell decent bud (not all the varieties of course). Most of the other places are ripp offs!

i asked for jamaican sensi once in the "EXtasy" coffee shop and they gave some totally freaky shit...the people who worked there looked dodgy anyway...should have known better..


then i went to the dutch countryside with my gf who happens to be dutch and let me tell you....NO COMPARISON!!!

way cheaper and REAL buds and morocon hash.

The locals told me that they never buy gear from adam since its totally for tourists and CRAP bud. Especially that mystery black oily hash that they sell as "afghani"...

freaky shit as well! i spent the whole day walking around adam trippin my head off without any feeling...

so while on the countryside, I got a 1/4 of red morocco hash and i was AMAZED!!!

i ve never had such good hash in my whole life...

if u want good gear go to the dutch country side.

has anyone gone into the a'dam suburbs, away from the tourist area? mayb there mite b descent coffeeshops their. i have also heard from a dampkring regular that sum markets in the dam have good smoke.

Thanks Bongme, confirmed some suspicions I had (especially at crappy places like sevilla where I got baited & switched good and proper...). Grey area is a pretty safe bet though.
I'll be in the dam from 23/3/04 to 29/3/04, is there anywhere I can get hold of those bags? I wanted to send some hash back in the post (too para for plane hijinks) and that would be perfect. I had the plan of buying a dutch children's story book and tape, opening up the tapes with a screwdriver, stuffing them with hash and gift wrapping the whole thing, then sending it from Haarlem with a fake dutch name on the front and a fake dutch return address on the back. Has anyone sent it in the post before?

I think anything over 1 or 2 grams is subject to go through customs, i've heard of people using B day cards to put a gram in....not worth it IMO.

i have sent stuff back in the post last 2 times in dam.

i buy sum cheap porno VHS, looks less obvious than other really as of Red Light D. Open up place hash in middle, ive only sent about 3g before. Address it to my hoouse, but with fake name. THen when it hopefully arrives at home dont open it for a few days so if the cops come by u can say u were gona take it back to the post office cos u didnt now who it was for. A smell proof bag wud b good cos last time it luckily didnt get opened, but when i did the hash was so so strong smelling.

both times i have posted it from near home grown f as it usually our last stop to pick up some cake for the UK. VHS can fit through normal dutch post boxes, if u push.

if u r going out of Dam you could send it from there which wud b better.

Thanks for taking the time to write that. Ill definately be setting the standard for my mates next time we go.
Ill also be making the effort to get out of the city and into the country side like some of you recomend.

Alot of my friends seem to think amsterdam is some sort of stoners heaven, regardless of my warnings that some coffeeshops will take you for a prat just like the wankers dealing soap in this country.

i must have been lucky then, i genrally get what i buy in the dam,
and always check what its like before i buy. the smaller out the way coffe shops are the real guys as a rule.
