I will never go DP again after hermy probs.

Also THSeeds feminised range - avoid - major herm issues. Confirmed by multiple other growers. Avoid! smile.gif

White Russian is an excellent strain....very tasty, very strong, good yielder...

GN

Easy GN, i dont grow any fem seeds at all now.

Thanks very much for all your suggestions.

Think i'm gonna go for the chronic from serious seeds, £60 for 10 beans seems about right to me. Had a look at a few diaries and stuff on here and it sounds pretty good stuff.

Is there anything i should watch out for with it or is it a bullet proof grow?

Good choice thumbsup.gif
These are very forgiving plants (not that you'll need to be forgiven wink.gif ) and they reward you with huge stonkin buds eek.gif just don't top them unless totally necessary...

You should get two phenotypes...
no.1: is a stretchy sat dominant (?) 10/11 weeker which yields big but I much prefer the...
no.2: which is a short stocky dense indica dominant which also yields big but alot sooner and in less space...

I know that in hydro they respond well to a light feeding schedule but you're in compo so don't worry about that...
clones take a little longer than most to show roots, but they do show roots which is the important bit so no worries, just take em a week earlier than most...

when it comes to drying you need to take good care; try and get them to dry over two weeks (if possible @ 18oC 40% humidity) and then (very important) cure in an airtight jar for at least a week.

make sure you take cuttings from each plant so you can make a mother from the best wink1.gif

If you need any specific advice then you can ask simon / claude at the s.s. forum, it's their plant after all and they are very helpful

Nice choice on the Chronic mate....i would listen to prawn...he is that man when it comes to growing chronic.

He is right about 2 distinct phenos....i grew chronic out on my last grow and got 1 that was very stocky and dense that finished in 8 to 9 weeks and another thats more sat and buds not so dense, which finished in 9 to 10 weeks.

Here is a pic of the indi dom plant

Overall both were easy plants to grow and gave 51g for indi, but would have been more as she got a slight bit of budrot, so watch out as rot will set in unless you control the humidity well as the buds are so dense.

The sat one gave 61g, no rot on her but her buds weren't as dense as the indi. Ill be gorwing both to see which one to keep.

peace and good luck
