Style of Grow:Compost

Hi again all. Here's some pics of my two Kali Mist girls, germed in late March, put on 12/12 May 11th when plants were 8-12” tall. Started flowering around May 30th. Looking good but a few questions occur:
1. How come they look like different strains? These were serious seeds and have had identical treatment. You could almost think the short one is indica!
2. What's happening to the little one's fan leaves? Started yellowing low down but now moving up - like paper. Natural wasteage? Maybe the plant needs to shed a few as it's so dense?
3. How far off harvest do you reckon? 70 days is up around first week of August but I think they might peak earlier if the sun stays with us - loads of trichomes (clear) and spreading fast. I'll be looking for an early harvest as I want that sativa buzz in all its glory.

Thanks to anyone with any thoughts...

Love, foxbean

Hi there. I think this is my first post on this site!

IMHO,

1.) Different phenotypes perhaps, not different strains
2.) Plants naturally eat the bottom leaves and work upwards, perhaps give it more food, preferably bloom.
3.) Dont harvest early do what it says on the tin, cloudy trichomes etc

Forgot to say, looking real gangster

Hey Grams and thanks. I figured out the pheno bit - looking forward to the contrast in fact. Am trimming away dead leaf - lower buds just lovin it. All buds fattening up bigtime but you're right - it's all in the trichs. Patience now!
Thanks again. Don't make it your last comment eh? Simple, no-bollocks advice is just the job...
