Hi all, new to the growing, the setup will be a budbox 75 x 75 x 160cms. 400 watt digital lighting, 100mm rucks fan rhino filter. Medium, soil.
Im just wondering what sort of strains would i be able to get away with in a tent thats 160cms high? Also, how smelly is Heavy Duty Fruity? would it be a problem in my room? is it an easy grow for newbie? I want something that has fruity flavours, maybe starting with an uplifting energetic high, then hit with a sledge hammer confusion high! anyone help? Much appreciated! -------------------- Stay Safe. Respect and Peace!!

I would suggest AK47 form serious. Very forgiving strain and the high is exactly like you described. The only complaint ive heard is that its too strong. It seems that its very popular for first time growers. Was my first time choice as well.

thanks all for your replies!
Just looked on your diary Bum Gravy! Superb results with cfl! top job mate! Northern lights sounds like a good choice. As for the AK-47, the beans are a bit expensive, but they do sound very tempting Decisions decisions...........i aint even started growing yet, and the decisions are getting me confused!! haha Thanks again all, really appreciate it!! -------------------- Stay Safe. How about something cheap to start with? Nirvana - white rhino has excellent reports, im sure that would fit nicely. NL or NL crosses are usually easy to grow too.

I've just grown out a Phat Fruity under 500w Enviro's. Good strong, hardy plant. Smoke is nice too - a good day timer. I cropped mine a week or two early because the Big Buddah Blue Cheese next to it was stinking my gaff out! So I'd imagine if it was left 9 maybe 9.5 weeks it would have really beefed out and become a bit of a couchlocker.
Smells real fruity around week 5 / six of flower - but nothing your Rhino won't sort out. Click Here to see my Phatt Fruity! Good luck bro. Got another one 2 weeks into veg, gotta flower it early as the landlord is due back in a couple of months. Have fixed all the ducting to my Rhino so hopefully I can let it (and another cheese) go a little longer this time!
