hi guys ive got a question which keeps bugging me 34.gif

if i plant a crop of feminised seeds and grow them to the end and find say a few seeds in each plant, is it hermys which pollinated the crop and produced the seeds or do they self pollinate them selfs and produce seeds?

and are they feminised seeds that have been produced?

Mate i'm going to be honest here, i don't know for sure. I once grew GHS Great White Shark and one of them hermied like a right hebitch, anyway i got about 80 seeds from one of the plants. I grew a few out just to see what would happen and they were female, i'm not going to say feminised because i only germinated 5 of them and could have been lucky. The plants grew fine second time around with no hermies at all.

Hope this helps yinyang.gif

A hermie seed from any plant will more than likely be a fem, it may carry the hermie tendencies or it may not. Fem seeds are obtained by added/spaying chems to produce male flowers on a fem....... I think 1 is Gib acid (cant spell it lol.gif ).

To self pollinate it would have to be a hermy (as male flower pollinated a female pistil) or it would have to be treated with Gibberic Acic (GA) or Colloidal Silver (spelling?)

Femmed seeds generally come from plants treated with GA or CS

I had a Kc Brains northern lights go hermie on me, i got about 50 seeds from it that i saved, i threw lots away. I thought i'd never grow them but as i was short of funds for some seeds i popped 12 of them in jiffys pellets. I let them veg for 4 weeks and after 3 weeks flowering all 12 are female, and looking lovely! I have loads of seeds left so if i ever try them again it will be interesting to see it they are all female.

i read somewhere that they poison females in flower with light to cause them to self pollenate, thus producing feminine seed,s. the thoery is that the females have never been in contact with a male, so there is no male genetics in the producing seed making it female..

don,t know how true this is though, think i read it in a post on here couple of years back.
