i have grown 5 seedsman skunk 1 and 2 seedsman White widow.my plants are 42.days of flowering . flowering time is 8 weeks for WW and 9 weeks for skunk 1 according to the breeder ( seedsman )

but although my plants 42.days of flowering, yield is not good . i am analyzing diaries of other growers but their plants bigger than mine. i grow in organic compost and of course i compare my plants other organic growers' plants .

do you have any experience with seedsman original skunk 1 and WW and about their final yield ?
it is my first grow and i dont know,it may be my mistake, not seedsman strains.
any idea ?

Some photos would help.
There are so many factors.
If they're up at the sativa end of the spectrum, they'll fatten up a lot near the end.

I've grown loads of varieties over the years and I can't say I've seen much difference in yield between different plants.

It pays to take breeders' estimated harvest times with a pinch of salt

yeah, 42 days for those strains is nothing, plus a lot of dutch breeders count the first two weeks of 12/12 as veg time, ww on all the different breeders i've tried usually takes closer to 10 weeks, skunk #1 ime usually a 9 weeker, just wait it out, they'll fatten up

i don't have any experience growing this strain but it takes a few years to really learn how to grow properly, and good yeilds come with experience.

42 days is too early to tell, it's usually the last 3 weeks where they really pile the weight on and the buds start to go firm to touch.

i have found Serious Seeds to be good yeilders (except kali mist because it's a sativa) but the rest ak47,chronic bubblegum, etc are all proven to be good yeilders and have good female rates and are pretty easy to grow even if your a beginner.

give your widows at least 8-9 maybe 10 weeks if you think they need it.

hey raz, do you have any picture about your seedsman grown ?
In addition, is it ok to extend the life of a plant ,that breeders recommend 8 weeks flowering time, upto 9-10 weeks ?

i have a friend who is growing seedsman ww and they look like they'll be his largest yielding yet!! at a guess he'll get about 10-11 ounces off 2 plant's. they were vegged for 6 weeks and were topped at the 5th node(i think), those two plant's alone completly fill his tent he has them under a 400w hps in soil.

I haven't grown out either of those two strains, but I did grow out Seedsman's Northern Lights and the yield was fine. Good plant actually.
