yes less moisture on those buds will helps alot just keep an eye of weather forcast for frosts is the big issue as well even if you get a week it will make a big difference but if it did not start flowering till middle of sept 8 weeks would be just shy of middle of nov if its the 10 week pheno ur looking at december

hi D, I`d be happy with that the way it is, seeing as it was started late, protection will help but sure how much, it is still going to be cool and damp, but at least you see it every day and can always pull it if it looks like it is going to go mouldy on you. gl with it. keep on puffin

Got home tonight after work and brought the plant indoors as it has been raining a lot lately and I noticed some mould. Luckily it does not seem to bad. I thoroughly checked the plant and separated the mouldy stuff and I am going to make bubble hash with it. (I assume that it is not advisable to smoke mouldy bud). I also decided to cut the rest of the plant down as over 50% of the pistils were brown although I think the main cola could have done with another week or so but I don't really have that option. Anyway, here are a couple of pics. One of the plant before I chopped it and one of a mouldy bud.

well at 50% brown i would have still said 2 weeks but after seeing the mold i would have done the same,
your right dont smoke moldy buds. still cant get over how dense them buds are for an outdoor plant. I think good grower but wrong strain

I't does very well outdoors here in the southern us. good yielder. watch for mold though, very tight buds.

i think you did well D, and you could probably start that plant at least a month earlier there couldn`t you? probably get 4 times that amount if in good spot in the ground and earlier start:) I`d smoke it. cheers
