Hey mate, is she flowering yet? Doesn't sound like a bad size for a five week old Tundra. Mine was five weeks old when this pic was taken, it is the plant on the far right.

And here she is today at 8 weeks, as you can see she's come on a tiny bit in those three weeks 13.gif but still isn't flowering! Probably wouldn't be half as big if it had autoflowered properly

kriecky they have growm in three weeks are yours indoors or out mine are similare to yours at five weeks but mine have much shorter space between the nodes up the main stem but similar
what are you going to do about flowering yours. if mine dont auto flower it may take till autumn to flower like any outdoor plant i really hope they auto flower now the days are getting shorter
bit of a dissapointment arent they when im only doing them for a quick result outdoors i think my indoor power skunk that was planted 2 weeks later will be hoped before the tundra will be wich kind of defeats the point for me

In my experience the number of nodes developed before flowering get going is the best indicator of the yield of an auto so I wouldn't worry if yours are compact.

My Tundra was going outdoors during the day and under CFLs in the evening to give it 18 hours of light. It went outside permanently just under two weeks ago and has been coming along really fast, I'm topping it lots as I don't want it to get too tall. I'm planning on force flowering from early July, will 12/12 it for a week by popping it under a blanket in the shed.

If you're at 5 weeks already and you don't have any preflowers it sounds like you're going to have trouble with the autoflowering too sad.gif Could you force it too?

if they dont auto flower they will when the days get short anyway but its not good enough i mean selling these as auto flowering when they blatantly dont is false advertising and another reason i wont buy dutch passion again just because i dont want to give this company any more money after ripping me and every one else who has brought these off. for them not to autoflower as promised i mean it does not show dutch passion of as a credible seed bank

It is certainly surprising that the Tundra and Taiga appear to be so unstable, especially as I thought DP are a reputable seed bank. I feel sorry for you if you have a whole batch of seeds that isn't going to meet your expectations, it's not really been a problem for me because I've had a mix of things on the go.

And my power skunk was switched to 12/12 last night at 24 days old its so healthy and its the fastest growing plant i have ever had i mean if you go away for 2 hours and come back you can see how much its grown
so fingers crossed it will become a great female and not a hermie its my first go at scroging and im realy enjoying learning something new plus a can see how much its going to improve my yield i just hope my screen is big enough as this plant is living up to its name power skunk wow what a fast growing plant it is i think some of the extra speed this plant has must be down to the grow storm addative from flairform that real does seem to super charge the nutrient solution

I bought 5 Autoflowering Tiaga from Dutch Passion. I have always used Dutch Passion - never had a problem.

It was my first time with an Autoflowering strain. After day 40, they still hadnt flowered. I got in touch with Dutch Passion. They said they had a problem with this particular Auto strain and gave me 5 more Tiagas to make up for the problems I was experiencing. They suggested switching the lights off for 48 hours then switching back to 12/12.

After a week they started flowering. 2 were hermies (very pissed off). I had nowhere to put the 5 new Taigas so I put them with the others, 12/12 from seed. Out of the 5. 2 were male. The others started flowering - 1 turned into a hermie.

The original Tiagas are doing very well, they are bigger cause of the extra veg time but I wont use Dutch Passion for Autos anymore.

I have grown amazing high yielding plants from Dutch Passion and will still buy from them. Just stay away from their Auto strain.

Cheers for your post Starsailor, I'll keep a careful eye on mine given the number of hermies you've had. I've yet to hear of someone growing Tundra or Taiga and not having problems with autoflowering doh.gif

Green Dreemer, good to hear you've finally got some preflowers going on, as a word of warning mine first started showing preflowers at about the same stage and then continued to veg, probably because of my topping and training whistling.gif The plant is still growing like a beast and force flowering starts this evening, so long as I remember unsure.gif Hope yours start budding up for you very soon, hopefully it will just be a slightly slow start which should hopefully result in bigger yields biggrin.gif

Still no buds then unsure.gif . I imagine that if they don't pull their socks up in the next couple of weeks they're not going to autoflower.

I didn't start forcing mine in the end and I reckon it will flower naturally, hopefully around the same time as a Passion #1. It has preflowers on most of the nodes now and that seems to be fairly common on a lot of outdoor plants at this stage this year, I saw one poster who had an outdoor skunk cross in full flower already huh.gif My Tundra is an absolute beauty though and is still going from strength to strength, she should give me a good yield in a few months biggrin.gif

on mine there ar a few pre flowers on some of the plants but they look very healthy so i hope to get something out of them in the end but overall im very dissapointed with them as they dont do what they say and auto flower wich is in my mind a rip off after all who wants minature plants that take as long as normal plants just with the reduced yields and reduced power due to the ruderalis thats in them i certanly wont be growing any dutch passion seeds again

Sorry to hear your Tundra are still causing you grief. I wouldn't necessarily write off DP completely, they may have got the autoflowering wrong but from what I've seen otherwise genetically this is a very good plant and certainly not a miniature. Obviously juries out till I try some buds unsure.gif I've been topping and training mine and it's getting toward 5 feet wide guitar.gif

My Taiga's are doing very well - although they didnt autoflower. I followed Dutch Passion's advice and have kept them under a 12/12 after forcing flowering with 48 hours darkness.

Dutch Passion have always supplied me with excellent seeds and I've had great success with them.

I will stay away from their autoflowering range till they have it right. They supplied me with more seeds to compensate for the issues I had. I will still use them for future grows.
