I almost almost bought some of these today for £45 for 5 seeds. I was almost twisted into thinking this yielded more then it apparently does, although the purple sounds cool, my night temps are fairly low so i could be in for a suprise if i grow this one out smile.gif hmmm decisions decisions....

dont bother mate you can do alot better give sensi seeds sensi skunk or skunk no1 instead much better or flying dutchmans bluebery skunk or thier g force all of wich will give way better results than train wreck these strains are also great dutch passion's cali orange and sensi seeds or white label northern lights gives great results in a fast time

i had good results when i grew it around a year or so ago when it first came out, the yeild was pretty good not amazing but good. the smoke was also the same i had 2 different phenos one really frosty which was the more knock out stone an was quit strong the others were jus avge. the taste of both phenos was the same jus the frostiness was diff. it had a skunky taste but undertones of manure sounds nasty but it wasnt it did kinda do your nose in if you took a big whiff tho an the flavor went thru when smoked or vaped an lingered in your mouth which is always nice. quit a unique flavor i thought, goes well with some cheese in your growroom. no hermies but i found 2 pollen sacks on the top buds at when they were ripe an ready for harvest so it didnt matter
id contact gh if you got hermies an see wot they say they. always worth a shot they might send you some more.

just because they say i cant, doesnt mean i wont.

Im doing this atm & well shes great . Obviously struck lucky on the pheno. Massive plant , I would recomend anyone growing this to top it as mine stretched like 3 & half times over the 1st 3 weeks of flowering . Here it is atm :
Attached Image

Loads of bud sites , the main stem is like a tree , she has like 5 long stems coming off at every node all of which are bud sites . The main cola is a bud but it also has buds coming of the buds . Crazy . Everyone Ive spoke to rates this strain but Im told prone to chucking out nana's . No nanas yet but im checking all the time. So I'd say its wortha try from my experience alone biggrin.gif

I'll dont know what she'll yeild but Im hoping 2oz plus , reckon she may go 9 weeks plus .

GHS Trainwreck is a great strain. I got purple hues too but only slightly.

They were very greedy plants. And very fast growing.Veg,d for 8 weeks as I was told they did,nt yeald that much. I ended up yealding over 4 oz per plant. And although the taste was,nt that great. I must say that it,s 1 of the most potent strain,s I,ve ever smoked. A very powerful stone.

My best friend who really could talk the hind leg off a donkey. Would come round, all chitter chatter as usual. I,d pass him the bong and would,nt hear another word from him for at least an hour.

All of my plants had a slight hermie problem in the latter stages of flowering but nothing major. No more than about 20 males flowers. Which were very easy too spot. And i did,nt get a single seed.

I would deffo grow them again

ive grown ghs trainwreck n i gotta asmit i wasnt impressed with em.

quite a bit of variety in all the plants, & the plants were lanky massive leafed fuckers.

most of em hermied-never has any hermie probs like i did with these.

yeild was poor, though the smoke was very nice.

i didnt have any purple in mine-suppose the night temps were ok.

i wouldnt grow again. or any ghs again. trying big buddha blue cheese for the 1st time & the grow has been hassle free.

some people love growing trainwreck, its just not for me...

please see my photo album for some pics of my trainwreck grow.,

peace all, wigster70

Well, a month further down the line than the last post, but figured I'd pass on my exp. anyhow!

I grew out 3 GHS TW plants in a modified Amazon system lat year (see 1st diary in sig for pics etc. - was my fiorst atempt at hydro/aero as well) and they did superbly and IMO yielded very well, despite a real nasty pythium infection trying to kill them from their veg. time right to the end (only just kept at bay long enough to get to harvest by using massive amounts of H2O2 and regular PythOff dosing). The three plants averaged about 4+ Oz each of fully trimmed buds. Veg time was between 6 and 8 weeks (can't recall properly now), as between summertime temps in the attic, several pump/delivery related failures, they needed extensive nursing to get to flowering size. I estimate they would have been about the size of 3 or 4 weeks good veg. from healthy plants/no pythium or near death drying out experiences. They grew like stink once they had settled in, and each gave great bud, although there was enough diference in yield, flavour, scent, potency and flowering times (almost 2 weeks difference between fastest and slowest finisher) for me to want to do another grow with clones from each to see which one is gonn be my main 'keeper'. Oh, and I had ZERO male flowers despite the plants having undergone huge amounts of stress from v. igh temps, infection and lighting f'ups.

I am doing another grow now (my second diary) - my clone grow to select the final mother line, but I have been struggling with my rooting sucess so am flowering out 3 of my TW #2 plants (fastest finisher, but least potent/flavoured/scentd and lowest yield last grow) for now until I have enough healthy clones to put in the Amazon.

EVRYONE who tried any of the TW I grew last time, even the worst of it (the TW#2) fell in love with it totally, and ever since I am constantly asked 'When TF is more gonna be cooked-up?!?'. I only let a couple Oz or so go out via friends and family (I DO NOT deal), and from the flitering down of that through the smoking scene, it seems that every local chav type petty dealer suddenly had 'Oh yeah mate, this is the best - it's the f'n TrainWreck from over (hereabouts) is this stuff!' in answer to 'what's that shit you're mongering?' - just because the buzz about how f'n nice it was had spread. In fact it is STILL happening despite being c. 10 months down the line. Of course this wasn't the GHS TW from anyone anywhere, or indeed ANY TW weed, just whatever sprayed crap was around (good job I am not a dealer or I'd never be able to shift TW to anyone any more because of this lol.gif!), heh... oh aye, in fact a lot of it was some 'any-old' shit that had been sprayed with 'Burberry' (sp?!? - I haven't a clue!) f'n aftershave FFS, heh... class...

Found the hit off it very warm, cosy, and relaxing, but with a distinct clarity of thought - made great 'planning' weed for me indeed, but although there wasn't any 'ouch lock' really to it, the cosyness of the vibe made us all want to just sit, enjoy and smile. Rarely got much activity done while high on it unless I had started the tasks before smoking it <G!>

I snapped up and scrogged the TW brutally and it just kept eating it up. prolly would avoid growing out tall plants without SCROG unless you have the spare verticles, as they can get tall it would seem.

HTH someone!

grew one trainwreck last year, it hermied in its last week. decided to give tw another go a few months ago under different growing conditions, it hermied in its last week too. plants were big with massive leaves, buds smelled pretty horrible throughout the grow, kind of like dogs breath or something. yeild was low considering the size of the plants. the buds i did get from my plants cured to a nice smoke tho. would definately not recomend this strain. if you are gonna grow a greenhouse seeds strain i would recoment arjans haze 3, finished plant was similar in size to the trainwreck and yeilded around 8 ounce per plant compared to my 3 ounce trainwrecks.
im trying purple wreck just now, hopefully it is more impressive.
