What height you got in that space mate?

Wanted to go up the loft myself, but after looking at the height and taking about a foot into consideration for my lamp I didn't think I'd have bugger all height to grow really.

Sod it, you've inspired me, off up tut attic tomorrow to measure up, got water pipes and electric circuitry up there so could be a goer unsure.gif

Cheers.

lol.gif nothing like running out of ganja to get you off your arse ey! lol.gif

Cheers Joe.

I've got about 5'7 i'd say. Couldn't wait lol.gif so got out me ladder. I'm 6'1 and can't stand up sad.gif

Still, with lights hung etc should give 3 to 3 1/2 half foot of usable space unsure.gif (E2A: taking a 10" pot height into account). Thing is my lamp is a 600W... Hmmm... I'll have to think about this and post some queries. Anyone who reads this who's done similar, any advice would be greatly appreciated. Also my attic get real fucking hot and would be out of use for mid-summer for sure, but it's all i've got ATM. Bit of a shitter!

The tape comes out tomorrow wink1.gif

All the very best with your grow my friend stoned.gif

Lookin good! yes.gif

I'm curious though. g.gif How is your cf attached to your fan? I've never seen anyone hang a cf like that before. I would be worried about it working loose (due to vibration plus weight) and the cf crashing down on your plants, lights, head, etc. bangin.gif fish.gif spam_laser.gif 34.gif

New to growin but sound on mechanical stuff. That set up is as safe as houses, all threads loctited, washer locked etc. Bungee hooks bent over & crimped. Goin' nowhere. & you can't hear it from the house wink.gif
Don't forget the advice bit,
Cheers,
Joe.

Cool.

I'm a Professional Rigger who climbs up to 35 meters (so far) and while on 3 inch steel I-beams pulls up chain motor points and such for live events. So I naturally get concerned about such things.

Even though you may have lock washers and such, I would still keep an eye on it. yes.gif If I could I would put a safety line on it so that if for some 1 in 1,000,000,000,000 chance all of your fastenings did work free, it would still have a line on it to keep it from crashing.

Safety first my friend! yes.gif

very nice build mate, but like the rand says carefull with the cf. if it was mine i would have the cf at the highest backest place i could fit it.
also i would fit 6-8 floresent tubes for the lower branches.

also your intakes i would use 2 100mm/4" eg 2 inlets at the front opersit sides as low as pos. powered by 2 bathrooom fans so you can go pasive or forced.

just my stoned 1/8 of as penny
