Welcome to UK420.

How often would the catalyst need to be used for optimal results.

Thanks,
GG

Same question here - i assume its similar to maxicrop - have had a look online and read the label but other than amount per litre there is no mention how often use it - so far im using it only when potting up.

I just mixed up a litre (half strength) and gave my girls a bit of a soaking - however; I still got a pretty much full spray can as I only needed a tiny bit. How long will it keep for at room temperature?

A quick heads up.....

I was using this at the recommended dose of 3ml per litre and noticed a slight bit of tip burn.It might be because the cuts Im growing at the moment are sensitive or 3ml maybe a tad hot but Ive now dropped it to half the recommended dose at 1.5ml per litre and all seems fine now.
A fresh start and new beginning

Id just like to mention to ignore the above post^^^^^^^ as its turned out to be LSF :yinyang: not tip burn :spliff: so 3ml per litre is more then likely fine.

I think the dilution rates have been worked out wrongly, this is only my opinion but I think they should be:-

Foliar: Mix at the rate of 1ml per litre of water thoroughly wetting leaves.

Young Plants: Mix at the rate of 0.75 to 1ml per litre of water

Mature Plants: Mix at the rate of 0.75ml to a max of 1.5ml per litre of water.
Q. how do i make seeds?

A. You take a splinter off my cross, tie a few hairs to one end of it, dip the hairs into the pollen and lightly brush the pistils with it.

Maybe it was tipburn then,as I did give'm a few feeds @ 3ml per litre but like I said Ive got LSF now so wasn't sure.

Thanks for the heads up OT1

Looking at the multitude of amino acids and vitamins this product contains, it seems to be similar to Hesi's Supervit in that respect. Could anyone tell me if they are interchangable or am I well wide of the mark here?

Like all organic products really it needs applying as soon as made up.

No, they are not even similar let alone interchangable.

OK, thanks. So would I be fine to use both or would the duplication of certain vitamins and amino acids be detrimental?

Nathan I think you said you bought the PM organic nutrients, do you want to add a stabilised chemical formula full of synthesised who knows what that is meant to replace some of the traces missing in chemical hydro fertilisers, ie a chemical fix for a chemical product missing something, 1 ml per 65 litres, why would you want to do that?

IMHO the PM organic fertilisers will already contain all you need, do you need catalyst as well? Again in my humble opinion no you don't!

Catalyst is a seaweed extract, it does enrich soil and the micro heard, its ingredients are absorbable by plant leaves, so its good for folia use, it is shown to accelerate root growth in seedlings, help harden them against some diseases. It is the best product of its type I have tried. I tend to use things if I see a need or should I say have a problem.

I for sure would not use an unknown chemical mix when there were natural products that contain more than the canna chemist can dream up as a product to sell you.

I eat plenty of fresh organic fruit and vegetables, I don't take pills made of synthesised vitamins that I don't know I need, its another trillion pound industry that tell me I do, would I be happier or healthier if I did, for sure the answer is no, I tried it for a bit and it did not make a dot of difference except it cost me money.

I do experiment with growing all the time, but I test what each thing I add does, sorry for the blah, but if you find the concept interesting take a look at this post and the post I made above it.

If your watering, from seedling, using PM catalyst and bio-silicon only in every second watering(and only small usage amounts i.e 1/2 - 3/4 ml p/l)

Would it be beneficial to add BB root juice to waterings in-between the bio-sil and catalyst waterings, or would you deem it un-necessary when using the PM bio and cat? Is what the catalyst does to the plant and what it contains similar to Root Juice.

f.y.i - 9 days the above soil, should be ready to re-pot over next few days and granules will be used in the pot-up....another root beneficial so in my thinking maybe even less need for the Root Juice.

Thanks and please excuse my ignorance, i have read so much and still have this question hanging in me head.

I put the catalyst & the Root Juice in same feed & then feed just BS on next watering. Seems to be working fine, especially the BS.

If you mix up some catalyst in tapwater in a sprayer but only need to use a tiny bit, how long can you store it before it goes 'off'? I assume it doesn't but I just wanted to make sure.
