why the hell does he lower the light level for flowering? what a tool. also, his way of adding co2 is likely to kill the plants if anything goes even slightly wrong, opening the bottle the way he suggests will easily bring that area up to WAAAAAAY over 2000ppm and cause burn. not sure on how the mositure gets srubbed? is he leaving that thing on!? he talks about frost collecting on the coils!? compressor aint gonna last long, nice idea, just needs a few tweaks imo

i got an old not working fridge

this gave me the ideal to convert to a veg box

seems a decent size and slightly bigger than the cupboard i had in mind so may give it a go

added benefit of being easy to clean as well and a perfecct size for my 125w cfl reflector

so just got to sort out some ventilation for it, was thinking of just cutting a couple of holes in the back and putting one of these for
extraction

any thoughts or tips?

Saw a good fridge mod the other day that Leepy and Healthystealthy built. Looks like a good idea to me. Turned out to be a nice little cab that did.

yep just had a look

great job leepy and HS

not sure if mines going to be that profession tho....

just a normal household fridge

just been measuring up and my reflector is a little bit too snug to fit!

may have to cut it down to size a little, whats best to cut the dimpled alu reflectors while still keeping
it tidy and no sharp edges so i wont be forever cutting me old hands on it

jigsaw?

oh dear not sure i trust myself with power tools wink.gif

Jigsaws are ok man. It's those circular saws and those monster angle grinders I get a buzz out of. Don't wanna slip or trip with one of those on the go.

I would use some proper metal cutters of the non mechanical variety. A bit like scissors for metal. wink1.gif

Jigsaw? nea.gif
either tin snips or maybe even big tough scissors , then a gentle rub with wet and dry or fine sandpaper .

thanks m8

this project is going really well

i have taken out all the electrical stuff

(was very careful when cutting the pipe!)

and have cut some holes for my fan and air intake

i ended up getting this fan for the extractor, i had some probs with high temps last summer so i went overkill a bit on the extractor
