Well after much toil saving and a well placed giro refund later and here it is our 1st grow we took a lot of advice took our time and made this completely out of stealth plastic over a wooden frame starting with a 150w enviro light (blue spectrum) for veg then change to 250w (red spectrum) for flower wish us luck will keep it updated.

Have went for active ventilation (pls take note i haven't attached the carbon filter out pipe to the filter on the pics) and we got Coco 70% and perlite 30% mix and starting off Train wreck

cheers hope this helps.

Looks like an excellent setup, clean tidy and plenty of effort, should be a decent grow matey, one thing, would avoid uploading pics from photobucket as it is not secure, far better off uploading them from this site and safer as well.

Good luck with the grow, looks like a decent setup. guitar.gif

Quick edit, just noticed your extraction ducting is low down the tent, you want the extraction ducting at the highest point in tent as heat rises, this way you will get good air flow also.

If that is an envirolight then also can get that much closer than that, have mine about 10 inches or less, im using 250w enviro, will take piccy if it will help.

Another edit lol.gif, they don't look as if they have popped above the surface as in sprouted, until they pop above your growing material you want the lights off, as they will search for light and pop above surface. Soon as the seedling is above the surface bang the lights on them.

Also if lights to far away they will stretch and possibly fall over, want to try and avoid stretching them by keeping light at optimum distance.

An example of my 250w enviro, it is 4 inches from seedlings, plants are 4-5 days old, took a day to germ so 6 days in total.

Enviro's tend to give of little heat so can get them really close, I plant on upping the wattage to 600w in another 5-6 days when they abit more stronger, also have a little clip on fan blowing on the seedling to get the stem stalks really strong for the phat buds. rofl.gif

you've got all the makings of an excellent grow biggrin.gif good luck

what potsmoker & smokey meant about your pics is that in your original post, the pics are linked from another site
ie - (photobucket) its best to not link from any other sites & if your wanting to post pics on uk420, then as long as theyre
not bigger than 350k (your best saving them in the JPEG format for this) then you can just add them as an attachment !
as for pics, your best stickin to the digi camera, mobiles just arent upto the same level of clarity.
its safer for your own security ph34r.gif

if your unable to edit the original post to remove the linked pics, send a pm to the forum mods & theyll sort you out.

righty few update photos (not external this time! yey, am a nubcake i know pinch.gif)
so i didn't manage to show our nifty tent so here it is the vent comes from a ridge vent in the roof with active intake pulling nice fresh air in
Attached Image

and once the door is shut
Attached Image

its just about air tight so its just fresh air in and then actively pulled out through the carbon filter
Attached Image

and let to disburse in the rest of the room outside so a sealed environment this is our 1st go at this ever but we wanted to do it right and get the best out of it anyway and we had some really good advice from ppl who know there stuff and ofc here on 420 nuf talk picture is worth a 1000 words n all that stoned.gif
