Hi,
I've recently brought myself a grow tent and am really struggling to drop the temperture in the tent. I only have a RVK125 out let fan and it aint quit cutting the mustard!!! Ive not got an intake because the room i have it in is not hot but i will be pumping warm air back into the tent and i dont want to do that.... I need it out of there. Ive also got a 12' standing fan that i have cable tied to one of the poles down the bottom blowing across the light and hopefully straight out of the outlet fan. I've tried this fan all over the tent and cant drop the temp to a comfortable heat. Is there a better place to put it as when i FINALLY get some girls in there they will think it tornado season in there!. Also ive got my temp probe about half way up the tent but i just cant trust it is there a better place to put it? or leave it there? Im useing a 400w HPS agro bulb and its like to bahamas in there. All i want to do is crack on but cant till ive solved this problem. Prob end up buying a cool tube as a friend did and that helped considerably he said and he uses a 600HPS. Please can anybody help (Desperate Grower!!!!) Oh the temps are between 78 and 89 farenheit |

Where u taking the temp reading from mate?
Remember u got radiant temp n ur actually room temp, i take 2 reading i hav the actual thermometer about 1.5ft of the deck in the shade n the temp is between 76-84F n then i hav the probe at the top of the plants in the direct light which is of course ur radiant temp as its getting direct light and this sometimes hits 90F most of the time it hovers round about 85F tho n this is cool no need to worry. heres a link that explains better http://www.uk420.com/boards/index.php?auto...showarticle=175 Am not saying ur doing it wrong but if the thermostat is getting direct light then it could well be giving u a radiant temp rather than air temp This post has been edited by evans181: May 3 2008, 06:30 PM -------------------- |
