I've been thinking about doing a thread on this for awhile now, but I wanted to make sure that it hadn't already been done.. Couldn't find one so ere's one... Now we've all been out and about and have heard people say or give advice on growing sometimes its good (if so it's never new), but I personaly find that other than this site and my original sensei... Most of what I hear is a hot steaming load of crap, that will do nothing to benifit or could ruin a real grow.. Now whenever I hear someone start talking bout growig It's almost like I have selective hearing and my ears just shut down and i'll stand there knodding my head and uh huh-ing them and finishing off with adding a really, or right. I get it form working in sales...

My intention is NOT to confuse anyone, but rather educate us all... Cause a few of these myths I've heard in the past have almost made sense... So let's try to avoid the grey area debatables, and stick to the one's that are straight up BS.

1. One of the first things I can remeber being told about growing was a guy mentioned that if you stick a nail through the base of the plant's stem a few weeks before the chop it will cause it to produce a larger concentration of THC...

I'm sure I read that once in a weed book - done by Mexican farmers to stress the plants and induce more flowers coz it thinks it's under attack - could end up an interesting thread this.

Growing pukka or greenhouse seeds wont make you a nob head

stressing a plant can make it hermy, hermy seeds are feminated. or is that feminised
let soil dry just before cut, produces more resin
squeeze plant to slightly damage in veg, makes the plant stocky

Squirting one out in your growroom makes the plants produce more resin because they can sense male hormones..
