So I have to have sky sports just for F1. It's the only UK sport I watch or like.

I'm going to be watching all races, I installed Sky especially for this season.

I get Sky Sports 1 and 2 through BT (It was the most cost effective way for me as I don't want the whole Sky package, nor do I want to be paying Murdoch directly).
So, it looks like I'll have to be content with just the BBC races and listen to the radio for the rest.
The BDO did a similar thing for this years world darts championship.....daytime rights to BBC and evening matches on ESPN. I'm lucky that I have ESPN, but a few of my mates were royally fucked off.
Seems to be the way of things these days.....just try and screw as much money out of it as possible, no matter how much you piss off the spectators.

I think you need a pretty fast connection as I've always found watching anything live on the tinterweb to be very laggy but thats because my internet signal is weak as it's wireless and 2 floors from the modem.
I disagree. As long as there is a MODICUM OF OWLAGE (MOO) then post whatever the fuck you like. Hiphip
To me the main reason for growing is what the end product does, not colas so dense you could drive a 6 inch nail in with it. I have hammers for that but they don’t get me high. Oldtimer1

TBH the days of needing sky are long gone, you can just pick up the free streams or pay to join a site, the one I use works out at 10p a day,I only pay because it saves me having to find streams and it's stable.

Exactly mate. Fuck sky. I pay £15 for 3 months and get more than I would with all the sky sports packages, like 3pm saturday premier league games and hbo/espn boxing. And not only that but they also keep all the big events in the on demand section for you to watch on tap for weeks later. You can also request events to be shown in advance.
